I went to New York City for a work weekend.

I wasn’t anticipating anything crazy. I was in town to host a panel at the newly reopened @nyrr x @newbalance RunCenter, and to be part of the broadcast team for Sunday’s Fifth Avenue Mile.

And then... It ended up being the absolute funnest weekend in recent memory.

High quality friend time, long runs in Central Park, shopping with the girls, hotel bed snuggles, a Benson Boone sighting at the hotel bar, a last-minute decision to see 2:59 marathoner @harrystyles at Madison Square Garden, a perfect dinner at Nobu, and many hours at the Fifth Ave. finish line. (Plus a visit to see @mikeannebailey’s new dance studio in Stamford on the way home!)

I am tired. I am happy. A masterful work-meets-play weekend in my favorite city with so many of my favorite people.

A very good sign of the times. 🪩

“But you’re not a model, you’re one of the real people.”

“Exactly. And I don’t want people to think that I can’t see the difference between a model and me.”

(Name that show / that episode!)

And yet here I am, one of the faces of the 2026 @newbalancerunning x @nycmarathon collection, which drops next week.

Earlier this summer, I got to spend a day at NB HQ, and this is what we were doing!

Lotta pinch-me moments lately. Lotta living. ♥️

(Lotta gratitude. LOTS.)

THANK YOU to the many, many people on set who took a girl with barely any eyebrows or eyelashes, and some seriously scrappy hair, and a long history of body issues, and loads of scars, and turned it into this. Magic. (And makeup.)

So much more to say. But first: going for a run.

June 2026 was for healing.

I got to be in NYC for the @nyrr Mini 10K — one of my favorite races — with my best friends. I hope I never forget how thrilling it felt to be cruising on an e-bike back to the hotel late at night with @adairjc112 and @aishapraughtleer after watching @conor_nickel compete at Hyrox when the Knicks game got out. People filled the streets, cheering and celebrating.

June marked the return of skinnydipping season, and late-night swim season. “Everyone jump in the pool one more time, in our clothes, before we go to bed” season.

We celebrated a slew of June birthdays (Mom, Sara, Seema, Aubree!), Annie’s last day of first grade, and the annual Spring Fling concert.

My episode of Next Question with @katiecouric went live. I got to add Katie Couric, Cell to my contacts. (After horrifyingly, unknowingly, leaving her on Read for a day.)

I got the biggest news: No Evidence of Active Disease. I still have cancer, but we can’t see it.

The flowers bloomed all around the yard.

We went for so many bike rides, Annie completed the Healthy Kids Running Series, and I attempted the Parent Mile.

After a bit of a slump, I got back to recording episodes for the Ali on the Run Show.

I got not one but two massages.

I spent the most magical weekend in Boston during the World Cup, while the Scots were in town, and it was even better than what you saw online. It was beautiful, it was unifying, it was happy. It was the absolute best of humanity, and I feel so lucky I got to witness it firsthand during @teambaa 10K weekend.

Two days later, I was back in Boston spending time at New Balance HQ. 👀

I’ve worked hard, I’ve played hard, I’ve celebrated hard. And while I have obviously not taken a single second to process or make meaning of the past 3+ years or the much-anticipated and hoped-for NED news, I have most definitely made some serious healing headway this month.

And it’s funny, right? I keep thinking I need to set aside time for processing. That I need to be in a luxe hotel with a balcony overlooking the mountains in order to make sense of my life.

Turns out, what I really needed is family, friends, multiple massages, and cities united by sports.

The RBC Brooklyn Half was the largest @nyrr half marathon ever—and we think all 30,000 runners knew we were there! With @tourdecoffee_runclub, we had a big, energetic cheer squad on Coney Island. Per @theeddiebles: “Our cheer zone makes everyone feel like a celeb.” 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️☕️📣🏧😻

Saturday in Boston.

A perfect day.

An early AM run along the Charles and cheering for the 5K with @jessmovold.

And then the day-long party at @thetrackatnewbalance, starting with a giggle-filled live show with @_ericjenkins and @aishapraughtleer, followed by the @newbalance Marathon Relay, where I somehow ran a 6:51 mile (with @fithy07, of course) as part of the stacked @citiusmag team.

The day ended with dinner with friends (where Cousin @adairjc112, a vegetarian, decided two days before the marathon was an awesome time to eat some steak tacos) and a hotel room hang with @christinerburke.

I loved it all.

An absolute banner day.

211 laps on an indoor track! 🤯

Before Boston’s marathoners ran through the city’s streets more than 600 runners from over 24 teams descended on the TRACK at new balance to cover 26.2 miles at the New Balance Marathon Relay.

Hosts Rob and Meb of Set the Pace interviewed runners right off the track, including Olympians Kim Conley and Aisha Praught-Leer, NBC 10 Boston reporter Matt Prichard, host of Ali on the Run Ali Feller, Endorphins Running founder Tyler Swartz, and more.
