Chicago Marathon 2026: 5:22:02 ❤️‍🔥

Chicago was tough, but this experience was about so much more than a finish time.

Months of early mornings, late nights, long runs, and balancing training with everything else in life all led up to this moment.

This journey was far from easy. There were days I felt strong, injuries I had to work through, and days I questioned if I could really do it.

The energy from the crowds was unreal and honestly kept me going through some of the toughest miles. One of the best courses I’ve ever experienced (minus the heat lol). I loved getting to see so much of Chicago along the way.

I’m also so grateful for everyone who supported me, encouraged me, and believed in me throughout this journey.

Thank you to @lindsaywoz_ for being the best run coach and guiding me this past year.

Thank you to @frqncyperformance and all the coaches for keeping me strong and fast throughout training.

And thank you to @celanosportandspine for always helping me work through injuries so I could continue training and make it to the start line.

Carrying a whole summers worth of work across the finish line. The long runs after long shifts, running during heatwaves to avoid the treadmill, and just the constant battle of listening to my mind telling me I could skip a run. The race happened before I stepped foot in Chicago and although I didn’t get the time I wanted I can’t ever be mad at a nearly 39 minute PR.

NYC showed me I can finish a Marathon and Chicago showed me how much I can grow. You spend months working for this one day suddenly it’s here and you have a medal around your neck that is earned far before race day.

Thank you to @therealtfresh and the rest of the @frqncyperformance staff for building a community that made me love running. I didn’t have many runs I completed alone and I’ll forever be grateful for this community.

Thank you to the @thegreenery.li and @elcafeny for fueling me before runs and giving me something to look forward to after.

Work is getting done! HYROX on Sunday 😛🩷

As someone who primarily only weight lifted, learning how to train hybrid-style and run has been a challenge for me these past few months. I just started running in March, and back then, I was really only able to run about 1-2 miles.

Consistency. Discipline. Balance. Showing up to classes after 12-hour shifts. Finding something you love and look forward to, because you can enjoy it while you do it. 🩷
