POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Every Sol Dance begins long before the first person walks into the room to relax into the dance-floor.

It starts weeks out. Late nights researching & putting music together. Centering in on what type of facilitation will be called for. Coordinating artists. Hunting for the right venue. Planning the marketing, setting up tickets, sorting insurance and non-profit paperwork, lining up volunteers and vendors, answering every message. So much of the work happens where no one sees it.

The night before, we load the trailer. The morning of, we spend a few hours building a room until it feels like it was always meant to hold a dance.

Trey caught a small taste of a behind-the-scenes look at our last dance, when @yemanjo was in town. Turn the sound on for @_mayarosa_ meditation. 🌺

We are grateful for every single one of you who chooses to spend your time dancing with us. As always, we thank our staff, vendors, and volunteers for continue to aid this community in putting on what I believe to be one of the finest conscious dance events in the country.

Tending this space is something we’ll never tire of. Stewarding a community like Sol Dance is a sacred charge, and we feel it every time.

With love,
Scott & Maya

What an amazing way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! 💛🔥

I’m so grateful for my four Zumba friends @fitperu @lifewith_manu @rosylamala who came to support my class, and for every member who showed up in neon, rocked the glasses, danced, laughed, and brought the BEST energy. Even more special, some of you brought things to share with everyone. That’s community. ⭐️

This is what I want my classes to feel like: a place where we support each other, release the stress, forget about everything for one hour, and just HAVE FUN.

Celebrating the Hispanic community, my community, made this night even more meaningful. Thank you for showing up, supporting other instructors, and celebrating with us. 🙏🏽💃🏽

❤️💛💙 LO LOGRAMOS! Our Zumbatón por Venezuela y Colombia was truly one for the heart. We are so grateful for the people who donated and for everyone who came from different parts of Atlanta to be part of this beautiful event.

For 1 hour and 30 minutes, we danced together with 11 amazing instructors, all united for one purpose: to give back and support Venezuela and Colombia through @umc_umcor . 🇻🇪🇨🇴

Thank you to @umcmission - Global Ministries for so generously allowing us to use your facilities for FREE. Your support helped make this event possible.

A huge thank you as well to all of the instructors who gave their time, energy, and choreographies, and to every single person who helped decorate, organize, and make this event feel so meaningful and full of love.

This was more than just a dance event — it was community, unity, and heart.
Más que Zumba, somos familia. ❤️

Yellows and Blues of different hues,
Returning our tunes to Jupiter,
Transferring our reflections of today’s dimensions to tomorrow’s world, for these times call for a different direction, an old way with a new perspective.
And it came from 5 points.
