🟠🔵 BO NIX CAME ALIVE! 🐴🔥

The Broncos handle business in Arizona, taking down the Cardinals 30-16 and improving to 5-2!

Bo Nix put on a show with 297 total yards and 2 TDs, including a HISTORY-MAKING 62-yard touchdown run — the longest TD run by a Broncos QB in franchise history! 💨

Denver keeps rolling, and the Broncos are looking like a serious threat in the AFC West. 👀

On October 9, 2026, just nine days short of his 87th birthday, Mr. Mike Ditka sadly passed away. Today was the first home game in Chicago since that happened.

With a final score of 24-30, I hope Mr. Ditka was pleased as he looked down on Soldier Field.

For my friends, you know how much I love to watch SNL, especially the old seasons. One of my favorite sketches is Bill Swerski's Super Fans, a sketch that first aired 35 years ago in 1991. It was written by Robert Smigel and Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad) and starred Joe Mantegna as Bill Swerski, George Wendt as his brother Bob, Chris Farley (the iconic Todd), Mr. Smigel, Beth Cahill, Kevin Nealon, and Mike Myers over the years. If you ask anyone, I've cheered "DA BEARS" since I was five years old.

If you were to ask the individual members of Bill Swerski's Superfans about tonight's game, they'd probably tell you the score was Patriots 24, Ditka 265. They always said things like that in the sketches.

But for tonight's game, that "265" number is significant. Mr. Ditka played 85 total games as a Chicago Bear from 1961-1966. He also coached the team for a total of 180 games from 1982-1993. If you add those two totals, you get 265 games with DA BEARS.

One other thing. In the fourth quarter, Bears' kicker Cairo Santos got a 58-yard career-long field goal. It was the longest-ever field goal kicked by a Bears player at Soldier Field (the other Bears player to kick a 58-yard field goal was Robbie Gould on December 17, 2013 against the Cincinnati Bengals). If you invert the numbers in 58, you get 85, which is the total number of games Mr. Ditka played as a Bear. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

Rest in Peace Mr. Ditka. And as always, GO BEARS!!!

P.S. Just in case you like statistics like I do, the 58-yard field goal—as incredible as it was—wasn't the longest-ever field goal kicked at Soldier Field. Matt Prater (Detroit Lions) and Will Reichard (Minnesota Vikings) each kicked 59-yard field goals in 2016 and 2025, respectively.
