This is my entry for the @stanforcreators #StanDareToDream! (Read for more) I just wanted to take this moment to say thank you for everyone who has supported my 100 stories in a year series. I guess this video entry is also my explanation as to why that series had been discontinued! What initially started as an exercise of consistency turned into a mission to tell the stories of people that most have yet to hear! I truly believe storytelling is the thing that connects all walks of life and I’ve met so many cool people and had so many amazing experiences because of it! From millionaires to bodyguards to people that were adopted at birth and just 15 videos, I have acquired so much perspective that I wouldn’t have if I never started! Don’t worry, I haven’t given up my dreams of becoming a world class storyteller ! However, the past few arcs of my life have opened my eyes to how much it really takes to follow your dreams. Things don’t come easy, and because of that content creation had to come to a pause! During my break of not posting these videos, I pivoted to making videos for others in the form of Brand story videos through my video business Fitz media(@fitzmedia4k). It was here I found out that I’m not the only one who struggles with the financial means to tell the stories that they want! So in an effort to help myself as well as others I must #daretodream! For anyone reading this, let it be a reminder that although reality may put your dreams on pause only you can always press play!

Last month, the Creator community in LA came together to put on a not for profit event, connecting creators to brands. Over 250 brand in attendance with over 40 brands donating product to the audience and over 600 creators in attendance who shared a total reach of over 1.2 billion. Attendance was free and we intend to keep it that way. Booths are also available for free for brands willing to donate products to the community. All event costs paid out by organizers went towards a 501(c)3 which has donated 5.5m lbs of food.
