Meet Peter Burnside, the President of Fivepin Music 🎶

Peter has been involved in a number of facets of the music business. While at the University of Western Ontario, he helped resurrect CHRW Radio Western and help start the Dr. Disc chain of record stores. Upon graduation with a degree in Electrical Engineering, he started a mail-order CD business focusing on Canadian artists. In 1994, this morphed into Pacemaker Entertainment, a CD reissue label that has released well over 100 titles.

What we do for businesses…🎶
—
We represent thousands of titles that can be one-stopped and fully licensed for all purposes. Let’s work together to create a totally unique and memorable experience for your audience.

Visual and audio content need to work hand-in-hand to create an impactful, sensorial experience for a viewer. Regardless of scale, relative importance or budget, there is a unique relationship to be built for each creative project. So why do we continue to hear the same kind of music playing behind our visual masterpieces? Where did the art of sonic exploration go? We want to help bridge this gap, connecting artists with creatives as we matchmake our way through our unique catalogue of songs.

We welcome music supervisors, creative directors, producers, or freelance videographers access to an ever-growing catalogue of more than 7,000 songs (6,000 one stop!). Ranging from 60s Soul & Jazz to Psychedelic/Alternative Rock to Latin/World to Synth Pop to Cinematic Instrumentals. Through our music, we want to help create a ‘weird and wonderful’ experience for your audience.

What we do for artists…🎶
—
We create exposure for artists that do things differently. If you’re pushing the creative envelope and need that extra promotion to elevate your career, please reach out. We’d love to work with you.
—
Our team works tirelessly with music supervisors, creative directors, producers and any other creatives to have your music heard and placed alongside impactful visual content. We understand the value that this can add to your career, and we take that personally. Sure, you can sign up with other promotion companies who have millions of titles in their catalogue, but do you think they are actually going to work your material?
—
We embrace the weird and wonderful, and genuinely love to discover music that no one has heard yet. This is how we’ve built our unique catalogue and placed songs across the industry in films, television programs, commercial projects, and more. Let’s work together to get you the exposure you deserve!

@fivepinmusic - Again
