Whatever brings you piece, or bring your piece. I forgot what the guide said so I brought my piece.

In a couple weeks we set the clock back. Summer is over. Less grass is growing. More fun is on the way. Have spent a lot of this year trying to keep my head above water. Stretched myself wildly thin without thinking twice about it. Not recommending it to everyone. Definitely encourage anyone to try it. The truth is that it isn’t for many folks. Have learned it’s for the best for me every now and then. Some are made for it. Some try to make themselves look like they’re made for it.

Just got back from MT. Went to see my pals at @SitkaBozeMAN and was stoked to be with @thequackshackpodcast the whole time. This run always starts late July but October has been a HAMMER.

Started with dove at 90° on the other side of the border wall at the bottom of Texas the first week. Then ducks, geese, pheasant and a 30 minute speech at the top of the country in 18° and 8in of snow just 6 days later. Barely halfway through. Next week we got @chenegear Film Fest and @ducksunlimitedinc podcast at the same time. Two days later we’re in SD for an upland shoot with @HEVIShotAmmo. All in on October. Gaining ground in some places. Putting distance between others. Creating new paths the same way as the old ones. Encouraging to know that the wilderness won’t last as long as you keep chopping your way through it. So chart your own course. Let others benefit from it while they can. Don’t look back.

Love all my folks in Bozeman and @tucker.james34 and @heather.berens5 are setting the bar for a lot of things without even knowing it. Appreciate those two immensely.
