Heads a bit scrambled up so headed into the woods for a bit of a bumble.

Bike didn't wanna play ball, the @srammtb NX has gone really wobbly so couldn't put any power down without the chain slipping, so called it at
13 miles.

More expense, gonna have to lay the bike up for a bit and get the hardtail out again.

Back to the @247fitnessgym gym tomorrow

Looking forward to next year definitely need to get back racing. @minienduro is a great event.

First race since 2023. I'm never gonna trouble the podium or even the top ten, but I love the vibe, riding new places and seeing progression.

Ran each stage twice, and saw decent improvement in the second runs barring the last stage stage due to a mistake.

Riding has been a struggle this year, haven't ridden half of what I normally do by now, fire had gone and just not feeling myself, but felt a spark returning.

Lets keep going 💪

Belter of a day @forest_of_dean_fe for the @minienduro with superstar @_the.martian_

Not raced for a while 32/46 in veterans class but today was about finding the magic and enjoying some great trails. Really enjoyed it 🤟 cheers to all involved .

Cracking ride out today with birdy, Kate & Rossco.
Great to bump into so many people and the trails are running really good.

Where has everyone been riding this weekend?

First ride over the Chase for a bit testing the busted thumb. Not great.

And this week, the Dr's refused my B12 jab due to cost citting, telling me to take pills. Which dont work. 🤬

Fatigued on every climb, I know what my body can and can't do, and hate feeling like I did right now. Looks like private jabs will be the way to go.

Looking to do the @minienduro at @forest_of_dean_fe next month with @mr_.p07 so hoping to be sorted for then.

We'll see.

Trails were a bit overgrown, but grip was good and need to build back up

Tough few days, needed to venture into the forest and shake myself to bits on the hardtail.

Quiet out there and dusty trails. Rode well within myself but just nice to get out.

New cassette on the ageing @orangebikes Alpine 160, so a quick 14 mile shakedown over @cannockchaseforest

Ferns have exploded and even made some of the official trails a bit tricky with sightlines blocked in some places.

A broken toe on a hidden stump may be on the cards again in the coming weeks 😂

Probably my worst ever ride down ridge run today, but need to sort my shit out and dial it back in.

Need a bike park day soon, another work shutdown in a couple of weeks so pondering a visit to @bikepark_wales not been for a few years. 🤔
