LOOK 2 from my BA3 COLLECTION „MAN(N) WILL VERSTEHEN“ talent - Sofia Dumrauf sofiaa_dmr photography - Viktoriya Zayika @viktoriya_zayika make up and hair - Lena Evara @lenaevara_makeup „MAN(N) WILL VERSTEHEN“ is a tribute to abstract art and the cultural freedom of the 1970s. Inspired by the diversity and fluidity of that era, particularly through drag culture and club kids. This collection breaks away from traditional gender roles and celebrates individual expression. At the heart of the concept lies the moment of viewing abstract art: the initial confusion, the quest for meaning, and the discovery of details. Just as abstract art blends styles and techniques to create something unique, this collection brings together diverse influences to produce designs that celebrate individuality. In the 1970s, fashion reflected a similar freedom as abstract art. At that time, fashion was a kaleidoscope of influences, where individuals selected what resonated with them, creating a personal style that transcended traditional gender norms. Just as abstract art draws from various styles and techniques to create something unique, fashion in the 70s combined diverse cultural and gender influences, forming a distinct, individualized expression. The collection is a vibrant mosaic of colors, shapes, and materials, inviting viewers to look closer and uncover subtle beauty within. Each piece is reflects both ambiguity and personal interpretation. In this way, fashion becomes a canvas where the boundaries of gender, style, and identity dissolve, inspiring both wearers and observers.

LOOK 2 - „THE HILL“ Part of my BA2 Collection „THE HILL AND THE VESSEL“ Talent - @rqffqelq Photography - @viktoriya_zayika MUA- @panqufeimakeup Location - @thecloudstudio.munich Also a big thanks to @rqffqelq and @simon.sne for assisting The look „THE HILL“ references the ancient figure of Sisyphus. a symbol of human effort without fulfillment. For his arrogance, greed, and cunning, Sisyphus was condemned by the gods to eternally push a boulder up a hill, only for it to roll back down just before reaching the summit. An endless act of exertion, without purpose, without redemption. This look reflects the tension between arrogance and self-loathing. It tells the story of the inner struggle of never feeling enough and the attempt to compensate for this feeling through external means. Like Sisyphus, we invest effort, ambition, and perfectionism into our actions, only to experience failure as repetition. The color palette of earthy brown and gleaming gold embodies this paradox: brown symbolizes heaviness, overwhelm, and loss of control; gold represents a deceptive veil meant to outshine inner decay. Gold also hints at an inner king, for whom even possession and external power are not enough. The elaborately designed silhouette represents the inflated ego, the desire to be enough through extravagance – and at the same time, the laborious work behind the facade. Visible overlock seams expose this perfectionism: when everything must be perfect, often only the visible fracture remains. The balloon-shaped skirt points to the soft core of the human being, their fragility, their vulnerable interior, suffering under the pressure of self-optimization and collapsing inward.
