Old wheels going to the shadow realm for powder coating in a few weeks. Also one of my tires has a nail so I gotta fix that too lol. The silver is back on the bug for now. A few cool things coming soon including the pink badge and front/rear lips #perrinperformance #bugeye #socalsubies #skatefasteatass #subaru

It was so difficult to narrow down pics for both wrap up posts with so many great memories from 2025! It’s a mix of my favorite single shots, collages and moments I loved. Thanks to all the great hosts of these shows: @themeetworldwide @kingmotorsports @doghouse.garage @superstreet @thehondameet @iam.america @formulad @fujiwara.tofu.cafe @joshuavides @japaneseclassiccarshow @at230_carsandcoffee @ftf4evr @subiefest @fl4theadz @themotoringclub @jdmvseurofest

Subiefest part 2

Little highlights from August’s event, couldn’t fit everything in. Had the honor to win in my category (12+ Impreza/Crosstrek). I tried to compete with the big boys (15+ wrx/sti) but it seemed it got amended in their system.

Was good to be back in the show after working the booth last year and leaving blue home. I unfortunately did not make it to roll in with friends, they were like 4 cars down from me. The upside was that I got placed at the end of the row closest to the autocross/two step area.

It was a sunny summer day, so me and Grace hunted for an umbrella as soon as it was possible. We had cold drinks all day with our portable fridge. Later in the day, our professor Dr. Higuera met up with us and got to experience his first subiefest. We went around all the cars, skimmed the booths, and went on a test drive in the new Impreza.

It was a weird feeling seeing the awards and giveaways announced in the dark. By then, it was cool to sit on the ground. As mentioned, I got announced for my category but also for Subimod’s choice. They said my build was a standout and stood for what enthusiasts can do. We didn’t have any luck in our group for the giveaway segment but I got to go home with a newfound grin for the achievement. It was a long year with my car without an engine and even more with figuring out the kinks on my own. There’s still more in store for the build and I look forward to more years at the only show I bring my car to lol

Larry Chen Night Lights was insane!✨

The line to get into Larry Chen’s Night Lights was looong but it moved quick pretty quick once it opened up. Got some nice shots waiting in line and a few random shots from the night, still have a good amount of pics to post up but here is the first part of my recap of the insane night!🤙

Laguna Seca didn’t feel real… I’ve been telling my Dad and friends about visiting this place for so long.

Driving up the steep entry road that I’d only ever heard about from videos. Walking into the paddock and seeing front straight that had seen so many pictures of felt so weird. I had watched so many videos and raced on the track through the simulator so many times, it had felt like I’d been there before. I was so surprised with the amount of freedom you had as a spectator to walk up the hills and basically be able to see the track from any angle you wanted.

@gridlifeofficial was an amazing experience although I didn’t go to the concert and I was only there for a day, the atmosphere of the event was great. Everyone looked like they were having the time of their lives, hanging out with friends, seeing amazing cars and watching great drivers do their thing. It was also crazy to see all the people I’ve followed online like @larry_chen_foto @robdahm @istubzz @turn_in_concepts group, just to name a few.

I’ll definitely be coming back to California, next time driving my car (hopefully the Subaru) on track.
