Alex Guthrie & The Uplands Band.

There’s something about watching a band that’s completely in sync. Every member has their own place, their own sound but nobody is fighting for space. It all works together.

I really enjoyed photographing these guys. There’s something about being in the pit and watching a band click like that that makes the whole night worth it.

“Born Like This” now belongs to you all anywhere you listen to music. It’s the culmination of seventeen days in the hospital, and 19 months of writing, recording, and cultivating its existence. May it remind you to cherish each breath in your lungs and to keep moving forward🫁
