🎸🎸🎸 RUEL 🎸🎸🎸

What a ride it’s been for RUEL, and it’s only just getting started! Since bursting onto the scene as a teenager, he’s taken the world by storm.

He’s a favourite of Elton John, played sold-out shows with symphony orchestras, and released two albums in a single year.

It’s his infectious work ethic and genuine love for his fans that will see his audience continue to grow for years to come.

Plus, he’s a massive Augie March fan (which we absolutely love).

[RUEL RELEASES PART TWO OF HIS SOPHOMORE DOUBLE ALBUM 📣📣📣]

Australian pop heavyweight @oneruel has unleashed ‘Kicking My Feet & Screaming’, part two of his sophomore double album, out now via Recess Records ❤️‍🔥

Released in October 2025, Kicking My Feet (part one) evoked a new era for the 23-year-old artist, leveraging his growth as a vivid songwriter to translate the defining years of his life within a captivating coming-of-age record.

Now, Kicking My Feet & Screaming (part two) delves further inward, dragging the melodic warmth of the first instalment to somewhere even more exposed. Soaked in love, loss and the specific misery of not being able to let go, the emotional register swings wider, laying bare everything from the tender to the visceral. Featuring an all-star cast of collaborators who’ve worked with the likes of Eminem, Olivia Dean, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter, Niall Horan, Adele and more - Julian Bunetta, John Ryan, Kenny Beats, M-Phazes, Dan Wilson and Leroy Clampit help bring the record’s reflective, expansive sound to life.

It’s Ruel at his most zealous; his daring self-awareness shaping the 10 new tracks to feel both deeply personal and universal all at once.

@oneruel is doing a series of pocket shows across Europe to promote his upcoming album and tour, and it’s honestly one of the coolest experiences ever. You get to hear unreleased music live, there’s a Q&A and photo time with him, all in intimate little venues where you truly feel part of something special.

The first show took place today in Paris at @the_mixtape_bypopnshot, and we were there to capture all the best moments and share them with you.

Thank you @virginmusicfrance, @flagrantartists, and @mrrp_marierabottin for having us! 💕

Australia’s global phenomenon @oneruel steps into a bold new chapter with ‘Kicking My Feet & Screaming’, a striking continuation of his artistic evolution and one of 2026’s most anticipated releases.

Exclusive to Impressed, this world exclusive limited edition burnt orange hand-pour vinyl is designed for collectors and fans alike, featuring our signature Impressed obi strip, numbered 1 to 300.

Following the breakout success of kicking my feet, this expanded 10-track project captures RUEL at his most self-assured and creatively ambitious. Blending raw emotional storytelling with polished, forward-thinking pop production, the record explores the intensity, awkwardness, and vulnerability of young love, all delivered through RUEL’s unmistakable voice.

Led by the fan-demanded single “Don’t Say That“, the album balances cinematic balladry with high-energy, contemporary pop. The track itself has already become a defining moment in RUEL’s catalogue, a deeply personal reflection wrapped in an infectious, euphoric soundscape.

Working alongside an elite roster of collaborators including M-phazes, Dan Wilson, Julian Bunetta, Kenny Beats and Taka Perry, RUEL expands his sonic world while sharpening the songwriting that has earned him over 3 billion streams globally.

Still only 23, Sydney’s own RUEL has already cemented himself as a modern pop mainstay, from sold-out world tours to co-signs from icons like Elton John, ‘Kicking My Feet & Screaming’ signals an artist not just arriving but accelerating.

Pre-order now for June 12, 2026 release.
