Soccer Agility And Ball Mastery ⚽️ 👣

Soccer players need to have fast feet, and great change of direction. However, players need to be able to have fast feet and great change of direction with the ball as well.

We start the drill off without the ball, and work on learning these movement patterns and we repeat it until it looks good. After this, we add the ball into the drill and we work on moving properly with the ball!

If you’re ready to elevate your performance, DM to get into sessions!

⚽️ Agility And Change Of Direction Drills ‼️

These are two drills that work on agility, change of direction, reaction quickness, and multi directional movement. Soccer players need to be improving these skills because these are needed when they are in the game! Linear drills are inportant, but often times players are moving in non-linear patterns, so it needs to be trained! If you want to become a better soccer player, use these drills in your next workout and DM me if you want to get involved in speed, agility, and quickness training sessions!

Speed Day 💨

This was a fantastic speed session with the soccer group. Here are a few drills that I like to use to teach proper sprinting mechanics. You’d be surprised how much your speed can increase by learning how to sprint properly. After we perform these drills, we do some potentiation work by performing resisted sprints followed by unresisted sprints. The weight of the resisted sprints sends signals to the central nervous system to activate more muscle fibers so the athlete can move the load. Now when we sprint unresisted, we feel a lot faster. If you want to start training to get faster, send me a DM and let’s get to work!

Chase The Rabbit 🐇 Drill

This is a true agility drill. We are trying to change direction as quickly as we can to avoid getting caught! I love using this drill as a fun way to compete and improve our agility. This is a lot more tiring than it looks! If you want to improve your agility, give this drill a try!
