Why is your therapist if ignoring me? At Apex, we value your time and your commitment to getting better. Many physical therapy practitioners struggle with managing time while striving to provide the best care for their patients. Unfortunately, in many clinics, high patient volumes make this even more challenging. Seeing 4–6 patients per hour leaves little room to address complex issues or setbacks thoroughly. If a few patients arrive just 5–10 minutes late, the entire schedule can quickly spiral into a game of catch-up. This is a common reality in many high-volume physical therapy “mills,” where quality care often takes a backseat to quantity. There are many passionate and capable physical therapists who, due to time constraints, can only scratch the surface of their patients’ needs. That’s why we have structured our clinic to allow time for meaningful discussions and adjustments to a patient’s care plan when necessary. Over time, this approach also enables physical therapists to deepen their knowledge through experience, as they are given more time to refine their skills throughout their careers. This cumulative effect helps therapists avoid burnout and prevents their skills from dulling, a common issue in high-volume settings. Growth is difficult—and often unrewarded—in these environments. We see this same phenomenon among internists and orthopedists, who often remain in practice primarily because they are listed on insurance plans, leaving patients with little choice in where they receive care and how they are treated. As a result, many people avoid physical therapy altogether due to poor experiences, not even considering it a viable option. Instead, they resort to injections or surgery, believing these are their only choices. At Apex, we are changing that perception by prioritizing quality care, thoughtful treatment plans, and a patient-first approach. If you’re looking for a different kind of physical therapy experience, reach out to us. We’d love to have a conversation about how we can help you achieve your goals.#time #qualitycare#healthtips #physicaltherapy#wyckoffphysicaltherapy#apexorthopedicrehab#lowerbackpain #neckpain
