THE DRESS 🦋🌿🧵🪽🌸

With Bridal Market this week, I can’t help but reminisce on the journey of finding and creating my dream dress last year 💙

A long post ahead, but as a forever gown girl, this dress deserved its own moment!

Swipe for the story time hehe ✨

This is the video I captured myself at Bridal Market in April 2025! 💙

I actually got my first sneak peek of this dress two days earlier, while sitting with my mom at David Yurman, picking out matching lockets in remembrance of Mimi. We were sipping champagne, getting emotional over memories, when @atelierbeccar posted a quick, blurry video with a glimpse of this dress.

I must have paused and screenshotted that video a hundred times, trying to make out every little detail. I turned to my mom and said, “This is EXACTLY what I would have designed myself??”

Fast forward two days to Bridal Market, and I was in love from the moment it came out. And then I learned its name was Scarlett, a nod to Scarlett O’Hara from Gone with the Wind, Mimi’s favorite movie character. 🥹

Safe to say, we obviouslyyyy had to buy it for the store… thanks @staceykraft1 😘

Fast forward to NOVEMBER 2025 (brides, please don’t do this. I shopped SO late. I am not the example here lol).

From the moment I tried it on, we were ALL sold. I’ve tried on HUNDREDS of dresses over the last 10 years, and nothing had ever felt quite as ME as this gown.

That being said, I still wanted to put my own little twist on it and bring it even closer to the exact vision I had in my head. ✨

I had personally picked out every dress I was going to try on at Flair, but at the very end, I let @kaitiesilk choose one more gown that she would have pulled for me if I were a “regular” bride.

And THANK GOODNESS I did, because I ended up incorporating a major detail from her pick into my own gown!

I also knew I wanted some sort of sleeve, so naturally, she had me wear an entirely different dress as a “jacket” to help bring the vision to life… perfection lol. 🤍

A little emotional moment with my dad 🤍

But don’t get it twisted! He hated PLENTY of dresses and only got emotional over this one LOL.

The day 🎀

The dress was customized to feel entirely me - r
