RIP Nick Joseph. This was our 2nd ever artist initiative piece created by @flanavision to celebrate Nick's role in Blakes 7. Nick liked this so much I had to send him some copies to bring along to a Blake's 7 Convention. Genuinely one of the nicest people on the convention circuit and was an honour to host him at Navan Comic Con. From the look of my feeds across social media he will be hugely missed by a huge number of people.

Had a brilliant time at the Season 21 Collection boxset screening of Warriors of the Deep hosted by the @britishfilminstitute and @bbcstudios. It was a real honour to speak to the audience about the props and the work we did for the release.

It was fantastic seeing everyone’s hard work come together on the big screen and get such a positive reaction from the audience, and it was lovely catching up with so many people throughout the day.

Really special as well to have the chance to bring along some of the props from the trailer and Warriors reshoots to be on display, alongside an original Silurian Communicator from 1984.

Huge thanks again to @petemctighe, @russell.minton.1 and @sammyboy_hunt for all their support and help. And thank you to everyone who took these photos and sent them to me as I didn’t take many throughout the day! 🫶🏻

The team and I had a blast at the BFI yesterday for “Warriors of the Deep” on the big screen (as Penant Roberts intended).
The audience reaction to “that moment” is going to be a career highlight for a while.

The Artist Initiative is one of the most rewarding parts of our events.

Irish-based artists create a piece of art to celebrate the work of one of our guests and the results so far have been magnificent.

Pictured are the 18 original works created as part of this initiative over the last year.
They're all so good I cant even pick a favourite 🙈

We have invested heavily in this and will continue into 2026 as we believe original art is important in so many ways.

Someone asked me recently "what if other events copy this idea?".
My reply...."I hope they do"

The new Liberator from Blake’s 7 Series 2, modelled by me and built by @studio_miniatures .
Fully collapsible and side mountable, and as close the original as we could get.
