There I was, just trying to keep a low profile, escape Portugal and go climbing somewhere far away from the spotlight… and then, out of nowhere, THIS happens. 🤣 If someone had told me I'd end up being part of a moment like this, I would never have believed it… not even in my wildest dreams. I didn't think too much of it at first because, to me, it was just something climbers do all the time, doesn't matter the grade of the route that each one is trying: sharing belays, cheering each other on… But this time was a little different. On the other end of the rope was @jakob.schubert, and fucking hell, what a moment! So happy for you! 🫂🫂 I'm a 9c belayer now 🤣🤣🤣🤣 What do I take away from this? It's amazing to see how he and @gioplacci.sk are among the world's best climbers, and yet the three of us share the same passion… the same hunger for climbing and the desire to keep pushing for more. At the end of the day, we're just climbers… and that's what it's all about 😁 I still have something more to tell you about all the amazing people I got to climb with at La Ramirole. Back to Ramirole. 🇫🇷🧗‍♂️ Four years ago, on my way back from Italy, I set out to try Spanish Caravan (8c), but I couldn’t even find the trail to the crag. This year, straight back to Ramirole, with @francisco.pires.12345678 as my climbing partner. What a king line! 🔥 60 metres of climbing, pure endurance, and the determination to make sure I wouldn’t leave without ticking this one off - among other ones. And to top it all off, a truly fanatical crew came together… it honestly felt like being in a movie! 🎬 But I’ll save that crew for the next post. 😉 After three years of travelling less, what better way to kick off a new year of trips? June and July flew by. Training, climbing, bolting, rebolting, teaching, sharing, goodbyes, new people, routesetting, and returning to my roots. Time flies when you’re doing what you love and spending it with the people you love. How quickly time passes. Now it’s August. I have my project I want to send, and I’m already trying not to put too much pressure on myself. If I don’t send it, the world won’t change. If I do, it won’t change either. Por fin puedo tachar este clásico del Pinar. La primera vez que lo probé fue cuando mi hermano @v.ictormoya y yo pasábamos horas entrenando y escalando juntos. Siempre se nos resistió y, por unas cosas o por otras, nunca llegamos a encadenarlo. Este sábado por la tarde por fin salió. No quería dejar pasar la oportunidad de dedicárselo a mi hermano, aunque ahora vive en Málaga y yo en Valencia, y ya no compartimos sesiones como antes, gran parte de lo que soy como escalador viene de aquellos años juntos. Va por ti, hermano. ❤️ . Al final los bloques no son solo grados ni líneas, son historias que se quedan contigo. . ✅PLUS DEL AUTOBUS 7B🚌 . ¿Os pasa que hay bloques que se quedan marcados por las personas con las que los probasteis?

Vuelvo poco a poco tras unas semanas parado por lesión y sensaciones raras. Segundo pegue a este bloque, muy cerca del flash. En teoría está graduado 7B, pero a mí me ha parecido más cercano a 7A. Bloque muy morfológico, con un primer movimiento largo de rebote que marca bastante la diferencia según tu talla. . ✅MAKI 7B? (7A) . #climbing #boulder #climb #bouldering

⚡️Flash de “EL CARCAMAL” Primera vez escalando en Buñol, una zona con muchísimo potencial tanto para bloque como para cuerda. El día no podía empezar mejor: primer 7A de @carmen_mulet 🥹🔥 y motivación por las nubes. Por mi parte, cayeron Sebulba de pie y, ya al final del día y con el cansancio acumulado, llegó la sorpresa… El Carcamal, en el sector La Carcama. Un bloque mítico. Y lo mejor: al flash. Para quien no lo sepa, hacer un bloque al flash es encadenarlo en el primer intento. Y no, no es solo cuestión de fuerza. Es leer bien, confiar, ejecutar… y tener la cabeza en su sitio cuando toca apretar. Este en concreto tenía justo lo que se me da bien. Lo vi y lo sentí claro: era para mí. Y aunque el cuerpo ya iba justo… salió. Porque a veces no es llegar fresco. Es saber cuándo tienes que creer. ¿Y tú? ¿Te la jugarías al flash estando ya fundido? 👀

Segundo 7C del año en la cueva de Almenara 💥 Un bloque que me ha hecho currar de verdad: tres sesiones para sacarle los métodos, pelear cada movimiento y confiar hasta el final. Cuando por fin sale… sabe diferente. Pasos largos de empeine, mucha tensión y un tridedo derecho que aprieta de verdad. De esas líneas que te exigen estar fino y darlo todo. . ✅EL COSTRON 7C .
