Hi everyone! I'd like to reintroduce myself (and my new ig account) to y'all in my most unique collab post yet.

My name is Clare, and I'm a girl.

Words (and social media posts) alone can't really capture experiences you haven't been through yourself, but this is the best I can do to describe mine -- I've always been a girl, even when everyone else saw me differently. For me, out of all the changes transition brings, the biggest has been finally letting go of a facade and fully accepting who I am. There's a lot of complicated feelings I'm still processing from finally accepting this last year, but it was deeply overdue, and has freed a huge weight from my chest.

For everyone who has accepted and supported me already over this past year, I really appreciate you all. Thank you all for making a trans girl feel loved and welcomed!

Dealing with a lot this weekend so may not respond promptly, but feel free to send me your questions (polite ones of course) or support and I'll get back when I can! And for those of you interested in staying in touch as I transition to womanhood, please follow me on my new account by the end of October, as I am clearing my old account then. Look forward to seeing you all over there!

With Love,
Clare 🖤💚
