Wow! Dreams really do come true. 💛

Building a bigger garage was a dream that once seemed pretty unlikely, but we REALLY needed one. We needed a safe, dry space to store the items so generously donated, processed and passed along to the families we serve all year round.

With the help of our community, that dream became a reality.

And this space is so much more than a garage. It is a critical extension of Haven Kids’ House, our crisis work, and the practical ways we support families every day.

Last week, we had the chance to celebrate with many of the incredible people who helped make it happen. We are so grateful to every donor, trade, supplier, business and community partner who contributed their time, expertise, materials and financial support.

Thank you for seeing the value in this project and for helping us build something that will support families for years to come. 👏

A very special thank you to Edgewater Homes, whose leadership and commitment helped turn what once felt like an unlikely dream into a beautiful reality.

Yesterday the ribbon was cut on the completed Haven Kids’ House garage and it was a day we will not forget.

This new garage gives Haven Kids’ House the storage space to accept donations they previously had to turn away, making a real difference for the kids and families they support. We had the opportunity to bring every trade and supplier involved out for a celebratory lunch to mark the occasion.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time and expertise to make this possible. Giving back to our community is something we are very proud and very grateful to be able to do.

Hi! I wanted to get in touch on behalf of @gnarcy.ambas . We've got some awesome jewelry lined up, and I reckon you'd be the best match to rock our latest collection of tough accessories!

If you're interested, we'd love to hook you up with a trio of pieces on the house! Yup, you read that right – absolutely FREE!

Just shoot a DM over to our main account @gnarcy.ambas (if you dont see a DM button, just reply to any of their stories), and our guy Shawn will sort you out pronto! But hey, don't sleep on it – spots are filling up fast, and we'd hate for you to miss out on the action! Cheers, mate! 🤙

Like many of you, we have sat and watched the current events of the free world unfold in horror and disbelief. We are confused, angry, sad, frustrated, and fearful. We want to believe in the good of the people and the good of the world. The murder of George Floyd and the violent and peaceful protests have open doors for many critical dinner table conversations in our household. Our hearts break for the individuals and the families who are deeply affected, The children who have lost mothers and fathers and the mothers who have lost sons. We try to get a grip on what is really happening, we want to understand so we listen and we learn. We see that in all the hatred, all the fear, all the fighting that there is light, and there is good.... the lotus flower emerges from the darkness and the mud, into the light so strong and so beautiful.
This Thursday, June 11, as George Floyd’s family and supporters march to the district attorneys office to demand justice and to seek punishment for the four officers involved in his death we will run 9 miles. 9 miles to represent the 9 minutes Derek Chauvin drove his knee into George Floyd’s neck causing his death. 9 miles to bring awareness to the systemic and global issue of racism. 9 miles for every son who has lost a father and every mother who has lost a son. 9 miles for the officers who fight for the rights and freedoms of others and who seek to understand and acknowledge that this is a time to listen. 9 miles to stand up and fight against racism. 9 miles for change.
We challenge you to do the same. It doesn’t matter if it’s 9 miles, 9 km, nine minutes, walk, run, bike… you choose. -We are one small drop in the bucket, but when repeated, small drops fill buckets.-
