Jean & Chris had a classic and elegant day in OKC! Their summer wedding featured an outdoor ceremony @gaillardiaweddingsevents, followed by a reception inside where they celebrated with all their loved ones.

“Karie with @ssyevents was amazing. She helped in so many different areas of the wedding, not just the planning. She was so organized and thought of things that I would have totally missed for the wedding. She was just so amazing!” -Jean, Bride

“In theater, we have this saying that a bad dress rehearsal means a good performance. We had a bunch of hiccups along the way of planning our wedding, but the vendor team we ended up with was stellar. Our wedding day was truly flawless. We both wrote our own vows and had our dogs, Tanka and Remy, be part of our special day. We felt so loved by our community of folks who joined us. Our wedding planner was completely committed to our Great Gatsby/Art Deco vibe and the @yaleokc executed the vision beautifully.” - Kate & Casey

Kate + Caseys @yaleokc wedding was Old Hollywood fun!
.
.
Planning a wedding with a heavy theme is all about commitment.

The biggest mistake couples make is choosing a theme but only carrying it through in a few places. The most memorable themed weddings weave that story into every guest touchpoint. From the invitations and venue to the music, menu, florals, attire, signage, and even the timeline.

Kate + Casey thought of every detail and it was so fun!

Soft blue details, a blue-and-white checkered dance floor, private vows, a live band, and their golden retriever Nash by their side—every part of Camry and Robert’s wedding felt intentional and full of joy. 🤍

From the Ivy Wall ceremony to celebrating under the Conservatory glass, the day was elegant, timeless, and centered around the people they love most. And as a sweet full-circle moment, they said “I do” at the same place where Robert proposed.
