YOU’VE BEEN SELECTED. 🥎 Meet @jemilaw13 Jemila Weeks, Olympia High School · Class of 2028 · 1B/P, and the newest member of the founding softball class of R2Cares Emerging Leaders. This recognition is about more than softball. Jemila was chosen for her leadership, her character, and the way she shows up for her teammates and her community, on and off the field. That’s what Emerging Leaders is about. Know the athlete. Know the human. And this one’s personal. On November 20 at the Beyond the Jersey Legacy Gala, Jemila will be presented her Emerging Leaders Jersey by her dad, former MLB player and coach Jemile Weeks. The next morning she’ll wear it to Henley Field, helping lead the next generation at our Emerging Leaders Kids Camp. Congratulations, Jemila. Welcome to the founding class. 💙 👉 Register your athlete for camp and Week of Wellness through the link in our bio. Zion Philpot is a name to know in Central Florida 👀 The 2027 middle infielder continues to make noise with his athleticism and ability at the plate. Definitely a player to keep on your radar heading into this season 📈 #FloridaBaseball #CentralFloridaBaseball #ClassOf2027 #BaseballProspects #Uncommitted

Being a two-way player takes a lot of work. At the 18U Perfect Game East Labor Day Classic, I earned All-Tournament awards for both batting and pitching for the first time. It means a lot to see the work paying off on both sides of the game. Grateful for my coaches and teammates who keep pushing me. Still plenty to work on.

Grateful for the opportunity to get the start on the mound while playing up in an 18U Perfect Game tournament this weekend. Threw a complete game, allowed one hit, struck out nine, and topped out at 84 mph. It felt great to compete and help my team advance to the semifinals. Still work to do! #classof2029 #uncommitted2029 #perfectgame #tampacatholicbaseball #keepworking

JAEDYN HAMMOND | OF/RHP | TAMPA CATHOLIC HS Hammond showed a solid two-way profile, running a 7.02 60-yard dash and making an impact on the mound. The RHP worked with a fastball up to 83 MPH, mixing a 69 MPH CB/SL and 73 MPH CH. He kept hitters off balance throughout his outing, recording 3 strikeouts while allowing just 2 hits. Athletic OF/RHP with playable speed, a developing three-pitch mix, and the ability to compete and limit hard contact on the mound.
