“There are countless toys out there, and with every generation, they keep changing. The things we played with are different from what our children play with today. But some loves remain constant… my love for balloons, and now my daughter’s too. 🎈❤️

What makes a simple balloon even more beautiful is knowing that the same balloon that can light up a child’s day might also be the reason a family gets a meal on their table. A little piece of happiness, carrying a much bigger story.”

Vintage sound , technicolor surround 🎼🎨

Best part of this Inktober challenge is — me learning so many new things & trying my hands. Trust me when i say this , although i love colours & i have never tried such funky & colour popping illustrations ever 😍😍 So here i go with MAXIMALISM in retro musical style 🎶🎵. And I guess i need some time to get over this colour burst 🤭 . But jokes apart , it’s so much trying something new & finding it cute 🥰 . Who knows i might try one more illustration soon ❤️

Prompt 21 : SHOLAR SAAJ #flashinktober
Acrylic inks from @flashpaints_official , use code “PADMAFLASH10” to get 10% off at checkout 🌟

Another new thing i have learned in my flash inktober challenge . How fascinating it is to learn about Bengal’s rich culture & how Maa Durga is welcomed with such grandeur. Sholar Saaj , as the name suggests , a decoration ( SAAJ ) is primarily made from SHOLA pith (the soft, milky-white, spongy core of the Aeschynomene aspera plant, or Indian cork), carved and assembled by traditional Malakar artisans to decorate idols of Goddess Durga and other Hindu deities 🙏

Here i have tried to bring that dimension using glue , i know its not how its should be illustrated. But i took the creative liberty and express my idea & present that SHOLAR effect in an embossing technique . I am super excited after seeing the final outcome 😭😇. Do let me know your thoughts on this one in the comments below 👇

🔱 **Vijayadashami: The Divine Victory of Maa Durga** ❤️‍🔥

When Mahishasura’s arrogance threatened the world, the divine feminine awakened in her most powerful form — **Maa Durga, the ten-armed Goddess of courage, strength, and righteousness.**

With ten hands holding divine weapons, she fought the demon who believed himself invincible. Her ten arms symbolised the countless powers of the Divine Mother — the power to protect, to destroy evil, to restore peace, and to stand fearless against injustice.

After a fierce battle, Maa Durga defeated Mahishasura, reminding the world that no matter how powerful evil may appear, it can never be greater than the power of truth and divine strength.

✨ **This Vijayadashami, let Maa Durga’s victory inspire every woman to recognise the Durga within herself.** The strength to fight injustice, the courage to speak up, and the fearlessness to rise again, even when the world tries to bring her down.

Because Maa Durga doesn't just destroy demons in mythology; she inspires us to fight the demons of fear, hatred, oppression, and inequality in our own lives.

🙏 May Maa Durga bless us with her strength, protect us from negativity, and awaken the fearless spirit within every heart.

**This is not just the victory of a Goddess. It is the victory of every soul that chooses courage over fear and good over evil.** 🔱❤️

🌺 **Happy Vijayadashami! Jai Maa Durga!** 🌺

Kondapalli toys (Kondapalli Bommalu) are traditional lightweight wooden handicrafts made in Kondapalli village near Vijayawada, in Andhra Pradesh state .
