The @drownzero organization is donating a life-saving tribute tower with a lifebuoy and plaque in honor of Jason at Ponce De Leon Park. I'm so grateful for this generous gesture, and I hope it is never needed in any future emergency for anyone, but I'm thankful it will be there now just in case.

If you get a chance today, listen to their show on W A1A 107.1 at approximately 3 o’clock pm in the afternoon today, Oct 2nd. There will be a tribute to Jason on that broadcast.

Jason was a longtime member of Florida’s bodyboarding and surf community, and his loss is being felt by so many people who shared waves, friendships, and memories with him over the years.

Yesterday, we lost a legend. It was devastating to hear that @flasponge (Jason Doyle) passed doing what he loves. The man I claimed to be “the most barreled guy in Florida” transcended doing just that. Getting barreled. Jason would chase a swell from south Florida, to the panhandle, to New York, and if that storm double backed, he’d chase it back to Florida and hit every good sandbar on the way home! I’ve surfed some of my best waves with him and got to meet amazing people along the way because of him. RIP brother. I know you’ll find the best boogie sandbars on the other side 🙏🏼❤️

RIP @flasponge Jason was a massive inspiration of mine and so many. His dedication was unmatched, he chased the best heaviest east coast tubes up and down the country even when living all the way down in south Florida. Thank you for all the love and keeping my 🔥 for east coast surf lit. I will always carry your positive spirit and pure love for the ocean with me out in the water every session. Thank you for everything Jason

The sweetest, most intuitive, and cutest little dog I've ever known, our Zeus. I'm so very thankful for him in our lives. 💌🐕💘🐾🙌

I thank God for this dog, THE sweetest and cutest brindle pug EVER, every single day. Zeus has been such a blessing in our lives...always by our side, always ready to cuddle, always curious, always protecting (by his overly-alert ears and 'barking to warn us', lol 😆) , always loyal, always ready to lick tears away, and of course always hungry (he's a pug!). Dogs are amazing creatures. 🙌💖🐕🫶

Quick dip on Sunday for some minis. Got to meet up with @flasponge for some cold peaks at the local. Also, some serious appreciation for Emma snagging a really solid phone clip from the beach. No shake, great framing and panning. Certified pro!!!!
