For the first time Spooky Surf Club is hosting a night at Düsseldorf’s last left-leaning alternative club WP8 [@wp8_duesseldorf]. The venue is known for its intimate atmosphere whether it’s on the dance floor or downstairs - just right to spend hours of dancing, connecting with like-minded people and old friends.

For this special gathering we've invited Cologne's finest Chiara [@c00lm8] & Denys [@softforce1] who is part of our beloved Avontuur crew [@avontuur.events].
The warm up will be our crew's pleasure, this time represented by Helena [@helenahkn] & Thomas [@phantomas____].

The club is located close to Duesseldorf main station(6 minutes walk). Gates open 22:00.

We strive to create a space where you can be yourself, enjoy the night, and look after each other.

We do not tolerate racism, sexism, or any other form of discrimination. Any violation of our code of conduct will lead to immediate exclusion.

We are back from our summer break/open air season for our @giselle.dus residency!
For the kick-off we have invited @lavanonwax - born in London & based in Berlin, he's a producer & vinyl-only DJ with a deep sense for 90s Garage & Deep House wax.
Lavan released several sold-out records on @plus98music & co-founded the label @aow.music in 2023.
In Berlin he's regularly bringing the heat to the famous dancefloors of Heideglühen, Sisyphos & OXI club and on 10th October he'll finally bring his sound to Düsseldorf!
As support(opening/closing) our very own @flatericcc will bring his record bag to provide a smooth introduction & a closing in typical Spooky Surf Club manner.

Fellow local vinyl head and event curator Eric joins for our seventh podcast edition. He took an extra deep look into his varied record collection, looking for tunes that go slightly off-track from his typical selections, ranging from deep breaks to the weirder side of minimal house grooves.
