Keep it simple, honestly I have caught Flathead, Bream, Trevally, Whiting & Mulloway with these two techniques.

1. Slow roll - You can speed that up or down
2. Two hops + Roll - You can make it more erratic or slow it down.

Lures for starters:
1. 2.5 to 3 inch paddle tails
2. 2.5 - 3 inch curl tail grubs
3. 2.35 - 3 inch prawn imitation

If the bite is🔥just see which technique and retrieve is getting the reaction bite. Last light hours are so much fun 👌🏾💫

When this fish was on i had a feeling it was a monster croc the way it was sitting on the bait, then taking line like a beast with headshakes knew it was a good fish. What a way to end the session with this monster dusky flathead going exactly 81cm on the light gear setup pulling some incredible string on the 8lb setup. She was released to fight another day 💪🐊

Warm waters are well and truly pulling up bigger Flathead. So much fun on the light gear. This was the first of the session.

56cm model, hopefully we can get some bigger ones. I’m currently doing @guyiwan_tribe Cast4Yarn raising funds for @beyondblueofficial.

Fantastic cause, and I will always be an advocate for the water and fishing being a great activity to get you out walking, clear the mind and reset.
