✨ Why do so many women lose touch with pleasure during difficult times?

Not because they’re doing something wrong.

Not because they’re broken.

And not because they’ve lost the ability to feel joy.

When we’re navigating divorce, grief, caregiving, burnout, heartbreak, or major life transitions, our nervous systems often shift into survival mode. Our energy goes toward getting through the day, managing responsibilities, and handling whatever is right in front of us.

As a result, many women find themselves feeling disconnected from their bodies, less playful, less curious, and less like themselves.

The good news?

This is not permanent.

Coming back to yourself is not about forcing happiness or pretending everything is okay. It begins with creating safety, finding regulation, and gently reconnecting with the parts of yourself that have been waiting patiently beneath the stress.

And perhaps most importantly:

I’m not a feminist, and I’m not jumping to the defense of naked women on the internet calling that freedom of expression, however…

I am a mom 👩‍🏫 , and I am my children’s first teacher. It is my duty, honor and upmost responsibility to show my girls that they are Queens
.
Queens are empowered, they radiate grace and strength. Their presence commands attention, they are resilient, they are sovereign and their impact inspires not only their community but generations to come
.
And yes, Queens are $eggy and SENSUAL. In tune with her body and intuition

When women abandon their wild side because she is a wife and mother, she also abandons HER:

My beautiful client and friend Camilla of @flavorsofpleasure is such a multifaceted woman that I didn't think I was going to be able to capture her true essence.

Camilla is a powerhouse that wants to help people reach their true potential by tapping into their version of pleasure. By showing up unapologetically and not being afraid to voice when your needs are not being met.
