Now THAT is a beautiful produce stack! 🌱🥔🚜

We’re grateful to Peters Produce for distributing local products and delivering them to Jerry & The Mermaid—a huge help during 70+ hour weeks.

We’re proud to support Schmitt Farms and Flavor Fields / Koppert Kress, both right here in Riverhead, while serving our guests the freshest ingredients we can. We’re a busy restaurant—not farm-to-table—but we’re grateful to play a small part in supporting local farms and our community. ❤️

Now, who can help us replace those Idaho potatoes with local Long Island potatoes? Ringhoff Farms, maybe? Know a potato farmer who can supply a busy restaurant? Send them our way! 😂🥔

Buy local. Cook local. Support local.

🌼 Tiny flower. Big citrus flavor.

We teamed up with Flavour Fields to spotlight micro marigolds, a small but mighty edible flower that’s making its way onto more restaurant plates. 👨🍳

These little blooms pack a bold citrusy flavor, similar to the back of an orange rind. 🍊 And because the flavor is so concentrated, just one flower can add a bright finishing touch to a dish.

Try them on avocado toast, salads, appetizers, desserts, or anywhere you want a pop of color and citrus flavor.

🌱 Small garnish. Big impact.

That garnish on your sushi plate? At most restaurants, it's plastic.

The best Asian restaurants use the real thing: fresh shiso leaves, in green and purple.

They're gorgeous, they're aromatic, and they pack a serious punch of flavor that no plastic leaf ever could.

We carry both varieties, picked fresh and ready for your kitchen.

Your dishes deserve the real leaf. Find us through the link in our bio 🍃

Not all greens are just for garnish 🌿

Nasturtium leaves bring a bold, peppery bite with a slight horseradish kick; something you don’t usually expect from a leaf. It’s one of those ingredients that instantly adds character to a dish, both in flavor and presentation.

Often used across different cuisines, especially in Asian-inspired dishes, it pairs well with meats and savory plates where you want a little extra depth 🔥

You’ll also occasionally see the bright orange flower that grows alongside it; a nice visual touch, though a bit more delicate to work with.

Ingredients like this are what make dishes stand out without overcomplicating them.
