in january i took a leap of faith and decided to quit my job and pursue my career in art full time. yesterday made 6 months to the day of my first day home, and i’m beyond proud of myself. no handouts, no shortcuts - simply hard work, a lot of sacrifice, dedication and commitment to my craft. i’ve supported myself and i’ve worked diligently to build my foundation, and the journey hasn’t been easy but it’s been more than worth it. blood, sweat and tears (literally), so many late nights and early mornings, days at a time without sleep, sometimes not even a meal! it’s been slow, it’s been super busy, and there’s been so many ups and downs throughout. brainstorming, handling online orders, commissions, and then my own projects, no team - just me! but my journey is my journey and i wouldn’t change a thing at all. i’m beyond grateful for every single moment, and i’ve learned so much about myself and life in general in the process. every single order, every painting, every word of encouragement, (THANK Y’ALL 🤍) it’s given me confirmation that i am on the right path, and it’s strengthened my belief in self immensely. i’m just getting started and have a long way to go, and i’m so excited to see what the future holds. but i know it’s going to be GREAT. 🥰🪄🌟🤍
