WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT VISIONARY

Meet 2026 G.E.M.S. Honoree Fields Jackson, Jr., CEO and Chief Cheerleader of Racing Toward Diversity Magazine.

“What distinguishes Fields is not simply the organizations he has founded or the recognition he has received, but the way he leads.”

Fields has dedicated his career to creating opportunities that change lives. Through Racing Toward Diversity Magazine, the College Diversity Network and his longstanding support of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, he has connected students, educators, employers and emerging leaders to new pathways for success.

He is a mentor, educator, advocate and connector who measures achievement by the opportunities he creates for others. Known as a “Chief Cheerleader,” Fields is often the first to celebrate someone else’s accomplishment, make an introduction or open a door that might otherwise remain closed.

Join us in the room as we celebrate Fields and the full class of 2026 honorees at G.E.M.S. Honors: A Cut Above, presented by MSL and hosted by Hachette Book Group, on September 16 in New York City.
