Another phenomenal WNR😎

Congratulations to everyone who stepped on a starting line last weekend, we have been watching so many of you put in the work lately & crushing your goals. whether your racing or it’s your first time trail running, we are here for all the achievements & strava kudos🙌🏻

We are looking forward to another epic weekend of racing & community with the Fall trail classic this Sunday put on by @fleetfeetchico. Another great local event to support, can’t wait to see you all crush it out there! There are still some spots available to step onto the starting line & if not they are looking for more volunteers!

Have a great rest of the week BRC!

Judgement day Half Marathon October 4, 2026 - Judgement Day and the Run the Valley Series taught me a lot. I learned that regardless of your pace, strength, plan, health and injuries along the way, if you show up for yourself, you will be rewarded for your ability to do what most people won’t do. So proud of everyone that showed up to better themselves and endure the heat. I would like to thank Freedom Running for the opportunity to run the series. Thank you. I appreciate all the athletes that made this happen, the run groups, the running community, my family and friends. Nothing comes easy and time away from the people you love is tough but with their support and Jesus all things are possible. I love you Cassandra Ortiz for being my biggest supporter. #TeamOrtiz #whereisJesserunningnext #staytuned

On Sundays we run. Had a wonderful time with @fleetfeetchico and Hoka demoing some new trail shoes! A little out and back and river crossing to get the fall started!

What a great way to end the summer with a @fleetfeetchico Pub Run from Bidwell Golf Course to Upper Bidwell Park (complete with creek crossing, of course). We got to try @salomonrunning shoes and @salomon hydration packs while making our own ice cream. True story and delicious, too!! 🍨

Ramble West @ramble.west.brewing was there too and we got a speedy glittery assist with Unicorn Snot @unicornsnot

Yesterday was something truly special. 🫶🏻

What started as a dream on day one finally became reality with the inaugural Colby Mountain Trailfest.

Watching runners experience these incredible new trails, seeing the smiles, and feeling the energy of our community show up in such a big way made every bit of the work worth it.

To our runners, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who believed in this dream from the beginning, thank you we couldn’t have done it without you.

And to our incredible crew—three amazing organizations Butte county SAR, Chico Velo, and BRC coming together to create something special that we hope will be part of this community for years to come.

Year one is in the books. What a way to start.

Heart is full ❤️🥹
See you all next year!

Sponsor highlight 🌟

Big thank you to our favorite local running shop, that has supported our club & members since day 1. They have graciously donated CMT runners with these awesome bibs!

We appreciate Fleet Feet Chico & what they do for the community. Shop local & buy local🙌🏻
