If you are looking for the most laid back ocean dweller, look no farther 👀
🦈 I Found it ‼️

ℹ️ The Bamboo shark ( Hemiscylliidae ), are family of sharks in the order of the Orectolobiformes commonly known as longtail carpet sharks
This fascinating species that completely redefines what it means to be a shark. Often found lounging on the sandy bottoms, these slender patterned sharks are famous for their incredibly chill behavior, preferring a quiet life of resting in rocky crevices over the high speed chases typically of their larger cousins ☺️

🦀 Their feeding behaviors is also interesting; Bamboo sharks are specialized suction feeders that use sensitive whisker barbels to vacuum pray from the sand. Their unique transformer teeth stand upright to grip soft fish but fold backward to creat a flat crushing surface for hard shelled crabs. Since the don’t have tongue they even perform a rhythmic shoulder shrug to pull food down their throats, making the highly efficient hinters despite their laid back nature.💙
