ONE YEAR!! Exactly one year ago, I took a risk & decided on a whim to vend at the @fleurdeflea Pickin In the Bluegrass outdoor flea market. I’d never sold antiques before, but as a lifelong vintage enthusiast & avid thrifter I’d always had the absurd dream in the back of my heart & head of one day having my own little shop to curate. Fortunately the day was a huge success, so I signed up for their holiday market (which was also a success)! Then, opportunity struck when @westlexpeddlersmall announced they were opening a brand new vintage mart right by my house. The prospect of added monthly expense was terrifying, but I went over to sign up for a booth space. Instead, I panicked and opted for TWO booths. Opening day was bigger than I could’ve hoped for and led me to taking on my second vintage space at Fleur de Flea (one of my very favorite thrifts) in April. Since then, I’ve done a handful of markets and added even more booths at @middletownpeddlersmall, and my most recent space at @subjectmatterlex for a grand total of FOUR locations in less than a year! I say all that to say: THANK YOU for supporting me & giving me the opportunity to do something I never EVER get tired of. A year ago I worried that I’d even earn enough money to cover the application fee, but y’all have shown up and shown out to shop my treasures, like my content, give words of encouragement, and generally just pay attention to all the mess & the madness ♥️ For that I’m eternally grateful, and look forward to never looking back! On that note, I’ll see y’all this Sunday for more goodies to be had 🤘🏻🔥🦌 #antiques #antiquing #thrift #thrifting
