Een kijkje achter de schermen bij deze shoot voor @fleurilabelle ✨ Van moodboard en het testen van verschillende ideeën tot de shoot zelf.

Voor haar sieradencollectie ‘Amalgamation’, wat staat voor samensmelting, kreeg ik de vraag om samen een conceptuele shoot neer te zetten rondom dit thema.

We zijn gaan kijken naar hoe we het idee van samensmelting visueel terug konden laten komen én hoe we de sieraden daarin zo goed mogelijk tot hun recht konden laten komen.

Binnenkort zullen we het eindresultaat delen 💍🔗

Hey! I’m @mor.alavifard, excited to introduce myself ahead of Crucible X Snag Metalsmithing Editorial Residency Issue 2 ✨

A small glimpse into my workshop and current works in progress.

In this piece, @fleurilabelle and I come together around our practices , exploring movement through the body and translating that energy into metal. It becomes an ongoing conversation between gesture, material, and making.

The issue is coming soon, and we’ll also be hosting a live conversation ,a space to introduce ourselves and share a first entry point into the work before the article unfolds.

Laatste kans om te verdwalen in de wereld van Tinker! ✨

Wist je dat Tinker in het Engels knutselen en improviseren betekent, maar in het Fries staat voor een denker of filosoof? Bij VHDG komen deze twee werelden samen. In deze tentoonstelling zie je hoe kunstenaars en actievoerders de wereld proberen te wrikken uit zijn voegen door middel van spel, protest en ritueel.

Tot en met 29 maart kun je nog komen kijken en luisteren naar de bijzondere werken van oFleuri La Belle Ngapy, Kelsey Corby, Jan Evert Musch, Le Fou de Coucou en Personal Care.

in this next issue Morvarid Alavifard, @mor.alavifard , an Iranian multidisciplinary/precious metal artist based in the UK will be in conversation with Fleuri La Belle @fleurilabelle , a Dutch-Congolese jewelry artist based in the Netherlands. We will share our practices that have overlap in the realms of movement, reclamation and embodiment, where we craft our freedom with our practice.
