What an evening.

Our first Artists in Conversation at the Century Club brought together an incredible room of artists, creatives and people from across our wider network for a night of honest conversation, connection and inspiration.

Hosted by Benjamin and Ashley Ella, the evening brought together four brilliant voices: Matthew Ball, Vincenzo Lamagna, Joy Julius and Adenike Adewale.

A huge thank you to each of them for sharing so openly about their journeys, their craft, the challenges along the way, and what continues to drive them. It was such a privilege to hear their perspectives and have them be part of the evening.

One of our favourite parts of the night was simply seeing the room come together. New conversations, new connections, familiar faces and people meeting for the first time. That’s exactly what we want By Design to keep building: a genuine community where people can connect, grow and inspire one another.

Thank you to @century_soho for hosting us in such a special space, and to everyone who came and made the evening what it was.

We couldn’t have pulled the night off without The Network. And this is only the beginning… keep an eye out for more By Design × The Network collaborations 👀

6 Tips for building a creative career⭐️

Still at the beginning of my journey, but growing fast!

~

A lot of people want to know how to work in music and it’s not easy. You must give your all, love what you do, choose to add colour to your life & live to the full🚀
And YES, I’m still looking for work - the point is to grow and make impact!

(I’m tagging everyone who has helped me along the way)

European Missions Conference, 2026. #EMC

What an incredible experience. A mountaintop experience for sure! But definitely a different experience this time with a baby… climbing up a mountain with a baby isn’t for the faint hearted.

Learnt so many lessons and am still processing but here are the main ones:

• I need to consistently look after and protect (physically and spiritually) my most important ministry: my wife and child.

• God is so unbelievably loving we can’t fathom it, and yet He is not sentimental

• There is much to do. As a husband and father that wants to achieve a lot, I need to be WAY more organised.

• It always comes back to basics. Worship God.

• I’m incredibly privileged to be surrounded by such incredible people.

• It’s time to step up and not be afraid of failing. FAIL FORWARDS.

• Anything can happen but the default is that God wants to multiply you and bless you.

Whatever happens… SEEK GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART 🫶

“Then Jesus said to his host, “When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭14‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭

Who doesn’t love a bit of suffering from time to time 👀 in 7 days I’ll be doing exactly that by running 100km across London.

I’m looking forward to the highs, but I’m more curious to peel back the layers and see what’s underneath!

I’m doing all this for a cause close to me, that I am personally active and hands on with, if you’d like to read more the link is below & can be found In my bio. I’m extremely thankful if you’d like to support this journey. 🏃‍♂️
