How long have you been doing circus and how did you get into it?

“Since 2006.
I saw Cirque du Soleils Alegria on Bravo and became obsessed after seeing Elena Levs contortion hoop act. I taught myself for two years before getting into NECCA’s pro track in 2008. “

What your favorite apparatus and/or skill set to perform?

“Contortion”

How long have you been teaching?

“Since 2015”

What’s your favorite part about teaching?

“Seeing people’s excitement as they improve and do new skills for the first time.
Watching athletes squirm when they assume something will be easy. “
