3 reasons you need to book a surf + yoga retreat to Barbados 🌺🌊

1. You need a proper reset.
Not the “I’ll have a quiet weekend and catch up on life admin” kind of reset… we mean switching off from your normal routine, waking up somewhere tropical, spending your days in the water, moving your body, eating amazing food and watching the sunset without having anywhere else you need to be. No clock watching round here!

2. You want to try something new (and actually have fun doing it)
Maybe you’ve always wanted to learn to surf but never had the time, the confidence or the right people to do it with. This is your chance to get in the water, have a laugh, probably fall off your board a few times 😂 and surprise yourself with what you can do. ✨Sustainable - Ethical - Empowering ✨

Morning folks! It’s not too early to think about sunnydays on our local beaches! Or maybe that holiday abroad we’re counting down the weeks too! We also should know the power of feeling comfortable in our skin, but also in the things we wear! That’s why I’m really excited to introduce you to @flickini! 🍑

British founder Flick, a surfer and sun-worshipper, believed that swimwear is best when simple, beautiful, and sustainable. A self-confessed bikini addict, she came to realise how difficult it was to find swimwear that was not overcomplicated, overpriced or uncomfortable to wear and surf in, let alone that was sustainable. Likewise, many friends often struggled when buying bikinis because they are usually sold as sets and it is rare to be the same size on the top and bottom.

This led to the idea of her own sustainable swimwear label Flickini in 2018, which was officially launched in 2020 after sourcing the best eco-friendly fabrics, perfecting designs & testing all the products. Flickinis are sold as separate pieces, which means you can mix ‘n’ match styles, sizes and colours, leading to a personalised bikini buying experience!

All pieces are made from ECONYL ® yarn, a 100% regenerated nylon fibre made from nylon waste otherwise polluting the Earth, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring & industrial plastic rescued from all over the world.
