The Palmetto Art Series

Art was an integral part of the Palmetto design story from the very beginning.

Working alongside @kellilundberg.art, whose extensive experience as a curator and gallerist guided the creation of a significant art collection for our client, we considered how each work would complement the interiors while bringing depth, character and meaning to the home.

The Ray Crooke piece at the entry sets the tone for what unfolds beyond, with each carefully selected work adding another layer to the story.

Because art is more than the cherry on top. It is what brings a design story to life.

Ready to welcome you in.

I love that Palmetto reveals itself slowly.

Through the gates, past the palms, a glimpse of the pool, the white architecture drawing you towards the front door.

Every part of the arrival is considered. That feeling of the weekend beginning, bags down, nowhere else to be.

For me, this is where Palmetto begins.

Design and Construction is dependent on the communication and commitment of all parties involved - from the design studio to the site - day one...to handover. Ask for names of supervisors and key contractors and gauge the response. Solid, established relationships are a key indicator of the project’s success and if that question’s not answered clearly, pay attention to that.

A genuinely custom designed house is developed on a case-by-case basis. A detailed process considering the site, orientation, access, client brief and budget. The design is not pre-prepared or selected from a catalogue. There is no pre-existing planning and this is where the value lies, and why the result is entirely and uniquely yours.

Lowe Living is proud to mark the topping out of Marella, Hampton.

Reaching this milestone is a reflection of the precision, planning and collective commitment behind every stage of the project. Our Co-founder Tim Lowe acknowledged the teams, partners and consultants whose collaboration continues to bring Marella to life, including @cerastribley, @plume__studio and the wider project team.

Marking the moment, together, the project team and partners signed the wall in Marella’s future foyer — leaving their mark on the place they’ve helped bring to life.

This moment marks more than reaching the highest point of construction. It represents the progress of a shared vision, shaped by considered architecture, enduring materials and a strong connection to place.

As work continues, Marella is taking shape as a refined collection of residences designed around a relaxed Hampton lifestyle, where thoughtful design, natural materiality and considered living come together.
