Coffee and a book make a pretty good combination. ☕📚

KNDZ Coffee gifted me their All KNDZ Coffee Gift Box, which includes nine different single serve packs of their coffee flavours.

I thought the drip bags were so cool. I’ve never made coffee this way before. All you gotta do is just hang one over your mug, pour in hot water, and you have a cup of coffee in about three minutes.

The box has a mix of flavours, including True Maple and Creamy Coconut, so there are a few different ones to try.

I’ll actually be giving away two KNDZ Coffee boxes in the next few days, so I’ll share all the details here soon if you’d like to enter! ☕🤎

🍁☕️🍁

QOTD: If you drink coffee, do you like flavoured coffee?
Alternatively, what’s your outfit today?

🍁 Mid-October already, geez, slow down would ya?

It’s a very moody, rainy day here. Perfect reading weather, but unfortunately, I’m at work. 🙄📚

Working is getting a bit overrated now, don’t ya think? Time to calm down with that shit.

I’ve got books to read, blankets to burrito myself in, tea to drink, and absolutely no business being productive right now. 😂

Honestly, I think we’ve all done enough for the year. Can we just skip to the part where we hibernate until spring?

Anyway, what are we all reading today? And more importantly, who else is mentally at home in their pyjamas while physically being somewhere they don’t want to be? 😂🍂

If this is what we’re handing out for Halloween, I’m showing up at your door every year. 😂🎃

Give me cozy sweaters, candles, bookmarks, books, and an unreasonable amount of iced coffee and I’ll happily skip the actual candy.

Honestly, I think we need to rethink the whole trick-or-treat system. 👀

🍁🍁🍁

QOTD: What would you want to find in your Halloween treat bag? 🎃📚

October 6th has some pretty tempting releases. I pulled together a few that caught my attention because, naturally, I need more books I absolutely do not have room for. 😂

QOTD: Which one is on your list?

Okay, I have a little thriller menu for you 😂

Because sometimes I know I want to read a thriller, but I don’t necessarily know what kind of thriller I want.

Do I want something fast that I’ll fly through? Something creepy? Something atmospheric? Or maybe just some people making really terrible decisions? 😂

So I picked a book for each mood/type of thriller and put them all together in a little menu.

Have a look through and see which one sounds most like your kind of read right now 👀📚

✨✨✨

QOTD: What are you hoping to read this week?
Alternatively, today, September 21, is technically the last day of summer. 😭☀️🍁 Are you happy to be changing seasons or do you want more summer?

Kensington Cozies, yes please.

I mean, look at that cover 😍

A young widow. A struggling Rhode Island bookshop. A dead librarian. And a wisecracking 1940s PI ghost who refuses to stay buried. 👻📚🔎

When Penelope’s bookshop becomes the scene of a murder, she and Jack, the ghostly 1940s era private eye she accidentally woke up, team up to solve the case.

The victim had jokingly called herself “The Dead Librarian” for years because she collected obituaries. Now she’s really dead, clutching an obituary that was written before she died.

Suicide? Pen and Jack don’t think so.

Their investigation leads to an old cemetery, a wealthy Newport family, and a mysterious stranger with a shocking offer. But before they can close the case, they’ll have to find the killer, before the killer finds Pen.

Thanks so much @kensingtonbooks and @cleocoyle_author for sending me a #gifted copy. This one’s out September 29th.

🕵🏼🔎🕵🏻‍♂️

QOTD: What’s on the go this weekend?
Alternatively, dream bookstore job: owner, bookseller, or just professional reader?

Rewrite the Stars by Lindsay Hameroff | Book Review

I really loved this one. This was the kind of romance that gave me all the feels without being too much.

Marissa Morgan is a former actress who stepped away from her career to focus on her two kids, especially after her son Levi was diagnosed with autism.

Meanwhile, her famous ex-husband is making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

So when Marissa inherits her grandmother’s lake house in Pennsylvania, she packs up the kids and heads there for the summer, hoping for a little peace away from Los Angeles and the paparazzi.

Enter Jesse, who just happens to be someone she knew years ago. 👀

💙 What Worked For Me:
•Second-chance romance with a great slow build
•Small-town + lake house summer setting 🏡
•Neurodivergent/autism representation
•Marissa’s journey of finally putting herself back on the list
•A really strong mother/child relationship
•Fantastic side characters
•Dual POV so we get Jesse’s perspective too
•ALL THINGS JESSE. 😍

And speaking of Jesse, I adored him. He’s genuinely kind, protective, helpful and just has this natural instinct to take care of the people he loves.

I also really appreciated the therapy/intervention elements and the quieter Jewish representation woven throughout the story.

And yes, the romance delivered. The chemistry, the flirting, the tension. I was VERY happy when they finally stopped dancing around their feelings. 😂

This one’s a warm, emotional contemporary romance about family, healing, finding yourself again, and getting a second chance at love.

4.5⭐️

Thanks so much @youhadmeathea and @lindsayhameroff for my #gifted copy!

✨🏈 go birds stack 🏈✨

FOOTBALL IS BACK, Y’ALL! It’s one of my favorite days of the year. I’m so excited that Eagles football will be back on my screen, so what better way to celebrate than with a green stack!

If you need me on Sundays for the rest of the year, you can find me watching football (and reading my book)!

FLY EAGLES FLY 🦅

QoTD: Are you a football fan? If so, who do you root for? (If not, what’s your favorite reading snack?)
