After the beautiful ‘Marriage Blessing’ of Ornella & Roberto we had a fantastic fish meal and reception at the Plimmiri Fish Restaurant accompanied by live Greek music and singing by Christina Koza!

26/09/2026 we attended the beautiful Greek Orthodox marriage blessing of our Italian friends, Roberto & Ornella, in the Church of Zoodochos Pigi (the “Life-Giving Spring”)in Plimmiri which was the home of a large early Christian basilica dating back to the 5th or 6th century A.D.

Beautiful day out in Kolymbia with my twin sister, taking in the views from St. Nicholas church and soaking up the warm September sun on the beach! Life is good 🇬🇷☀️😍

London Tweed Run, Saturday, the 18 April 2026.

“Do you feel yourself like a super hero in that cape?” …” Surely one must feel like it wearing whilst it flutters with the wind on a bike.”… I couldn’t agree more with you Michael @the.jermyn.st.gentleman and photographer Lukasz’ @_lukasz_kulik_ shots capture that feeling eloquently. Thank you so much for a delightful chat complementing my whole Tweed Run outfit Michael @the.jermyn.st.gentleman knickerbockers and the cape are all proudly made by me and it was a real pleasure to talk to you pity we forgot to take a snap together — next time!

It was another splendid ride with likeminded people, enthusiasts from all walks of life: bicycles, tweed, vintage clothing, penny farthings — creative, colourful and spectacular characters filled the streets of London on a gloriously sunny Saturday.

My 6th Tweed Run and 2nd as a Marshal on duty. Alas, I don’t have many photos, I was either on the move or stationed at a junction giving directions. More of our daily ‘commute’ up and down the Grand Canal! From the water-bus we marvelled at the stunning architecture and were blown away by the beauty of all the grand Venetian Palazzos!

With our Venetian trip coming to an end I just had to post some pictures of our daily ‘commute’ up and down the Grand Canal! The vaporetto ( water-bus) stop was directly in front of our hotel so we hopped on and off several times a day and we never got tired of this view🇮🇹🛶😍
