POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thinking a lot about death lately, but that's only because I'm happy. If you know you know.

I'm doing the FIRST book signing, reading, and Q&A for "In Tucson" this Friday 10/16 from 7pm-8:30pm at @whyilovewhereilive. Before that, pop-up poetry this Tuesday 10/13 from 5pm-9pm at @westbound_tapandbottle.

Thank you so much for adding to my happiness and, thus, reminding me of my mortality. It's wonderful.

✨🏆✨Team Appreciation Post!✨🏆✨

When we brought DTC to Tucson nearly TWO YEARS ago, we knew what our goals were. For two years, we’ve done EXACTLY what we prioritized. We’ve hosted amazing national headliners, boosted local talent, and showcased Tucson businesses.

Tucson has snapped up our tickets- selling out nearly every single show we’ve had. That’s a lofty goal and a remarkable outcome- and we’re humbled and grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way!

For two years, we’ve accomplished our goals and ✨not A SINGLE ONE✨ of them would have been remotely possible without our team.

Each and every guest is considered and cared for. We have freshly laundered blankets tied with a ribbon when it’s chilly. There are adorable party favors created around the theme for each show by the beloved DTC mom, @lizriesgo . The seating, sound, and lights are carefully considered by Chaka. Armando comes in clutch for crowd control and chair management 😂 and the team works together to get everything in place before the show and struck afterwards.

Our team shows up early, stays late, sets up, tears down, restores locations to their original luster after our guests have departed. They trouble shoot, problem solve, assess, and are the absolute BACKBONE of what we have been successfully and reliably delivering to our beloved Tucson audience for almost two years.

Along the way our team has also received helping hands from local friends like @3k_meech , @rosieboness , and Fernandez Party Rental - thank you for consistently being a friend of the show! Our buddies over at @tucson_comedy have been helpful supporters since day one - we can’t thank y’all enough for the boost!

Thank you to our friends above and especially to our DTC Tucson team for making this show’s consistent and continued success possible. We love you!

Have you ever wanted to come check out my class? This is your sign! Everyone is a star when they are on the floor! We take it one step at a time and never forget we are here to have fun, be silly, sexy, and learn.

This class was built for all levels. There is no one body for burlesque. So come join us and shake your assets. Proven way to relieve stress.

Classes are Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30 at @floorpolish and sliding scale pay of $7-10. Or come on the first Tuesday of each month for donation day and just give what you can.

Wear whatever makes you feel confident and comfortable. I look forward to dancing with you all!

Come embrace your inner power!

Classes are back for our fall semester! 🍂

Join me every Monday at 5:30 p.m. to get BACK into the roller dance groove! And this month is dedicated to all my beginners. All classes this month are catered to those who’ve never danced on skates before, who may not have been skating for very long, and for those who simply want to build more confidence on their skates ✨

Bring a friend and involve yourself in a community space where you’re pushed to learn and grow with tailored guidance and others alongside you 🙌🏽

No need to sign up anywhere, just show up! All attendees (new and returning) will be required to sign a waiver though, so get to class a couple of minutes early to do so!
