Been a crazy journey 💯 appreciate everyone along for the ride ❤️❤️ “SOMETIMES” out everywhere!

Music was always about expression
Battle rap was about the craft and skill

Now returning back into music mode with this newfound punchline structure to my writing from battlerap gave me a new sense of how i approached my verses, i felt something exciting needed to be said every couple of bars because battle rap needs those moments to stay engaging

Battle rap taught me crowd control, comedic timing, being unpredictable with set up/punchlines, building and releasing tension and in general improved my stage confidence dramatically

All of this funnelling back into my music was huge, the storytelling was still there, but i felt comfortable being truly vulnerable

I still like crazy multis and technical writing, but not just for the sake of it any more SUBSTANCE

i want to make music that makes you feel shit, whether its goosebumps from feeling my emotions, or to make people lose themselves in their own trains of thought

Thats what this is all about for me, it means more than any dope punchline breakdown ever could

The craft, real connections and REAL ART

the journey has been a fun one, i appreciate every single person along the way, from the friends i’ve made, the people in crowds who became fans when i was just the opening act, to the people i looked up to, who treated me as an equal and every single person who supported at any point along the way ❤️❤️❤️

Took a long time to get here, but this is just the start, and I wouldn’t have it any other way 💯❤️

🎉Celebrating 10K followers🎉

This time around when I got clean 2.5 years ago I made a decision to stop waiting around and give the music everything I’ve got. When I was coming up in the scene 16 years ago, it was all about what I could take from Hip Hop and the biggest shift was when I started considering what I was able to give back to the culture.

I had to let go of where I was in my late teens/early twenties, be humbled and start from scratch. It’s only really in the past year for the most part that people from the ‘Two Sides’ era have re-discovered me and showed up.

I have so much gratitude and love for all of my SOUL GANG that have supported me through the roller coaster that has been my life. It hasn’t been an easy road to get here, but all the pain I’ve felt makes sense when I’m performing, listening back to songs, freestyling and helping others in their journeys.
