Join us in congratulating Brooke Martin, 2023 UCF Legislative Scholar and Florida Gubernatorial Fellow (Class XX), on receiving the Hoffman Public Service Award, presented by Governor Ron DeSantis!

This distinguished recognition honors fellows who continue their careers in public service beyond their fellowship experience. In her role with the Florida Division of Emergency Management, Brooke supports communities across the state before, during, and after disasters and demonstrates a sustained commitment to public service in action.

From her time serving in Senator Jason Brodeur’s office as a Legislative Scholar, to her continued impact across Florida, Brooke exemplifies leadership, resilience, and a steadfast dedication to serving others. 🌀

The team at Diana Santa Maria, P.A. is incredibly proud of our law clerk, mediation assistant, and client interviewer, Juliette Valle, on completing her Florida Gubernatorial Fellowship under Ron DeSantis.

During her fellowship, Juliette served as a speechwriter and legislative fellow at the Florida Department of Education, contributing to high-level policy and communications efforts across the state.

We have truly missed having her in the office; her compassion in working with our clients and her dedication during mediations never go unnoticed. We cannot wait to welcome her back home. Your DSMPA family is so proud of you, Juliette, and we are so excited to see all that comes next. #TeamDSMPA

Feeling so grateful to have been recognized by Governor Ron Desantis for the completion of my Gubernatorial Fellowship and time spent at the Florida Division of Emergency Management. I don’t even know how to begin to explain what this year has meant to me. Being able to see first hand the impact of working for the government and for the people of Florida has been nothing short of humbling. This experience was beyond life changing and i’m so incredibly grateful for the hardworking, supportive people I met this year and the opportunities that concreted my purpose and passion in leadership and service!

Florida you’re in great hands. I can’t wait for what’s next 🇺🇸

It was an absolute honor to visit the Florida House in DC — the city’s only state embassy — with the Florida Gubernatorial Fellows to hear from an incredible former Fellows panel.

I was especially honored to have the opportunity to donate my sash and portrait to the Florida House, where they will now live as part of its collection. It means so much to contribute a small piece to this special place that celebrates Florida’s story and leadership in our nation’s capital. 🥹

Being part of Florida history alongside my amazing Fellows sisters makes it even more meaningful. Such a special day in DC but I'm so excited to come home!! 🍊🌴🧡🇺🇸 @floridahousedc @missflcompetition
