34 today, but somehow feeling a decade younger! 🎂

What a year. Easily the craziest, most exciting year of my life, from bringing @theboysinbeauty to market to opportunities I could have only dreamed of and dedicating much more time to my personal life too.

Feeling incredibly grateful for everyone who’s supported me along the way. Here’s to 34 and everything still to come! ❤️

Hard launch: I moderated a panel @nasa on sustainability in beauty, a topic that's becoming more important every day. Thanks for having me at Countdown 2 Sustainability, @floridascc. I met a real astronaut and dined under a rocket!

Countdown 2 Sustainability at @nasa Kennedy Space Center and it exceeded every expectation 🚀

Brilliant speakers, a founders’ panel that was refreshingly honest about the hard calls, and dinner under the Saturn V.

Thank you to the @floridascc team.

🎉 Friends, I am thrilled to share that I have been invited to chair the 2027 Sunscreen Symposium (TM) and I’ve accepted!

🗓️ 2027 will mark the 21st biennial hosting of this renowned and globally attended Symposium by the @floridascc and it will be the 7th Symposium in which I have played a direct role in organizing.

🔬In 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013 my role was chapter Treasurer, in 2023 as Chair-Elect and in 2025 as Chair, and I can honestly say that it’s been gratifying to see this event grow in importance and magnitude while remaining true to its purpose (and the mission of the SCC): to advance cosmetic science!

👏🏼 I would be remiss if I didn’t thank my employer, @bellintlabs_ for supporting my continued volunteer work and for recognizing the importance of this event to our scientific community.

📸 Enjoy some photos from past events, watch for updates on our website (FLSCC.org) and make plans to join us at the Walt Disney World @swandolphin on 27-29 September 2027!

NYSCC delivers world-class events because every conversation and every connection we make throughout the year has one purpose: to bring you cosmetic science innovation and breakthroughs shaping the future of beauty and personal care.

This week's Press & Friends gathering in Miami with industry leaders (special shout out to @floridascc Chair Krupa Koestline!) is part of the year-round effort that transforms Suppliers' Day into the premier destination for cosmetic innovation and our monthly symposiums into must-attend educational experiences.

The result? When you attend an NYSCC event you're getting front-row access to the science that's redefining formulation. You're meeting the suppliers launching game-changing ingredients. You're connecting with the chemists solving the most compelling challenges in our industry.

That's what best-in-class NYSCC programming delivers: insights that elevate your work, innovations that inspire your next breakthrough, and connections that accelerate your career.

2025: The Nexus of Science and Beauty

What happens when thousands of cosmetic scientists, formulators, and beauty innovators come together? 2025 showed us, and it was extraordinary.

- Suppliers' Day Became a Global Phenomenon
11,548 people from 74 countries. 675 exhibitors. One unforgettable experience at the Javits Convention Center. Thank you to partners like IBA, PCPC, and Contract Packaging Association.
The Indie 360 Pavilion showcased 21 independent brands. Congratulations to Parëva Beauty, winner of The People's Choice Award.

- A Year of Unforgettable Events
Six major educational programs covering sustainability, sensory science, rheology, biotechnology, and emerging trends. Our Scientific Committee and partners like the Society of Sensory Professionals transformed formulation thinking. Social events proved community is built through connection. "Putting for Products" at the Golf Outing, the Fishing Trip, and Bites Around the Globe celebrated our diversity.

- Empowering the Next Generation
120+ students attended Future Chemist Workshop. We doubled our Internship Program, placing 21 students in industry roles. Our Scholarship & Grants Program invested in the future of cosmetic science.

- Partnerships That Amplify Impact
We launched Catalyst Club for entrepreneurs. We collaborated with LISCC, CTSCC, NESCC, Florida SCC, and California SCC. Our CEW partnership reached new heights with the Ingredients & Formulation Pavilion and CEW Innovators Awards.

- Building Resources
Our redesigned website launched with enhanced navigation, easier registration, and expanded resources. Our MVP spotlight series honored incredible volunteers.

- What 2025 Taught Us
NYSCC is a movement of people who believe beauty is better when grounded in science, elevated by collaboration, and accessible to everyone.

2025 was extraordinary. 2026 will be even better. Whether you're a formulator, R&D scientist, product developer, marketing professional, regulatory expert, quality specialist, supplier, student, or entrepreneur, there's a place for you here.

Let's keep breaking beauty boundaries together.
