So grateful to be able to say that the Elephant Freedom Project has made it in the @liftoffglobalnetwork Sydney Film Festival.

It’s an honor to have my work selected and judged alongside plenty of other incredible films.
I honestly never thought a second about submitting this film to festivals when I was shooting it.
This project just came out of passion and the idea that I didn’t need funding or a production team to go out and tell a story that inspired me, so it makes it even more special to have it selected in a film festival.
This was my first film and it has definitely given me the drive to do more and dedicate myself to filmmaking.

It was an incredible experience to shoot this film and spend time with the team at @elephant_freedom. Their passion and dedication to what they do is really inspiring and I hope this film captures a little bit of that.

A few scenes from Red Bluff a couple of weeks ago.

There’s something pretty special about this raw and untouched stretch of the WA coast. You can just switch off, slow down and enjoy being surrounded by nothing but nature.

Slow mornings, chill afternoons drinking mate with friends and watching the surfers have the best time.

The Golden hour.

My favourite time to capture the beauty of the world, especially in the ocean.

There’s something special about the way the light rays shine through the water, dancing across the reef and the wildlife. The soft light brings out the textures, colours and contrast, making everything feel calm and vibrant.

Here on the Nyinggulu Reef in Western Australia, we’re lucky to have an incredible diversity of marine life and a healthy reef ecosystem. But what makes this place even more special is the chance to share the water with some of the ocean’s most amazing giants.

This short film showcases some of the incredible encounters you can have here with majestic whale sharks, graceful manta rays, different type of sharks, ancient sea turtles, and an abundance of fish, all at my favourite time of day.

The underwater world is full of incredible moments, and for me, there’s no better time to experience it than during golden hour.

I can’t quite get over this one. My first ever humpback whale swims 🤍🐋

when I tell you I sobbed into my mask.. it’s been on my bucketlist for years, but nothing quite prepares you for when these majestic animals make eye contact with you (including the little calf!)

This is the trailer of a new short film coming out soon that I’ve been working on called La Abuela.

This film follows Lidia through her relationship with dance and how it connects her to her Argentinian culture and identity.

I’ve been working on something a little different lately!

While we were in Argentina this summer I really wanted to tell a story in a new way, something I’m not used to do. I wanted to tell a story about someone special and mix it with a touch of culture. A story that brings you on a journey with someone.

This little project will be coming out soon and I’m really happy and excited to be able share it with you.
