I didn’t expect to walk into a room full of women on the same journey, building with legacy in mind. Building in a way that transforms leadership into surrendered servitude. My journal got a few pages fuller and my AUDACITY is back with a vengeance. GREATFUL for the speakers who shared their testimonies and dreams.

A takeaway that really resonated is the reminder to HONOUR the woman you had to be, the version of you that went through the trials in order for this version of you to emerge & I’m choosing too do so by not falling short of the vision that set me in motion to begin with!

Every time I go back to the venue, it starts to feel more real. I keep looking around and thinking about the women who will fill this room in a few days.

Some will come excited, some will come nervous, some might come not really knowing what they need, just knowing they need something different.

And I think that’s why this means so much to me. I am not trying to create a perfect event. I just want to create a room where women feel seen, encouraged, challenged and reminded that they can actually do something with what’s in them.

I really can’t wait to see this room full. 🤍

What began as a small vision during lockdown in 2020, after losing my job and from the confines of my little apartment, has grown into a beautiful testament to hard work, resilience and becoming the woman I once envisioned.

A woman of business, purpose and drive.

After six years, three rebrands, countless meltdowns 😂 and plenty of moments of doubt later, @koii.lashes still stands proudly as one of my most successful business ventures.

I’m incredibly grateful for the team, the support we’ve received along the way, and most importantly, for the position we’re now in to give back and create opportunities for others.

Because to me, true success is not just about what you build for yourself, it’s about being able to pass the blessing forward.

My testimony… I wrote this email a year ago… to find me a year later.

I wrote it in a moment where nothing around me matched what I believed God was doing in my life.
No evidence. No guarantees. Just faith.

Honestly I was tired. I was rebuilding. I was carrying things I didn’t speak about. But I still chose to sing and to pray. I still chose to believe.

I remember standing there and saying,
“This is the day my story changed.”

And if I’m honest…
the change didn’t come easy.

It came with loss. With pressure. With nights I questioned everything. With days I had to show up and pour into others when I felt empty myself.

Transformation is not pretty. It’s stretching.
It’s uncomfortable. It’s choosing discipline when emotions don’t align. It’s continuing when nobody is clapping.

But I didn’t stop.

I worked.
I prayed.
I trusted God in rooms where I felt unseen.
I built while I was healing.
I kept going when it would have been easier to disappear.

And now… I’m reading this letter.

Looking at my life.
Looking at these moments.

And all I can say is… God did it.

Not perfectly.
Not instantly.
But faithfully.

Everything you’re seeing in between this letter…this is what prayer looks like when it’s lived out.
This is what happens when you don’t quit on yourself.
This is what faith produces over time.

So if you’re in a place where it doesn’t make sense yet…
stay there. Stay with God. Stay consistent.

Because one day you’ll wake up and realise, you’re living in the very thing you once had to pray for.

This is my testimony.

Thank You, God 🤍

You need a system.

Prayer is powerful.
But even James 1:22 reminds us to be doers.

Discipline isn’t punishment.
It’s protection for your future.

Sometimes God will slow you down to rebuild you properly.

I didn’t just disappear…
I was healing,
Recovering,
Praying,
Resetting,

and now I’m back with deeper faith, clearer vision and stronger peace.

So if you’ve been in a quiet season God hasn’t forgotten you.
