Found such a cozy & warm spot for a light brunch

I tried the veggie sandwich and tomato soup, and omg the tomato soup was SO good!
Especially paired with the sourdough bread on the side.
Such a perfect combo 🤍

If you’re a sourdough lover, I’d also highly recommend grabbing their baguette or loaf to take home!

They also have the cutest patio, making it such a lovely spot to slow down and enjoy a light brunch

Definitely a spot I’d come back to for the bread alone!

A tip for instantly delicious meals? Bake feta. Seriously! This was so good, a recipe from @nytcooking ~ with added @flourist chickpeas of course 💛.

This meal is very straightforward and so endlessly adaptable.

You need a bunch of broccoli (or broccolini), a pint of cherry tomatoes, and 1 red onion, sliced. Add a cup of chickpeas, 1 whole sliced lemon, and 5-6 feta wedges.

Combine the veggies, chickpeas, and lemon slices in a bowl and toss with 2-3 tbsp olive oil. Season to toasted with salt and pepper. Lay flat on a parchment lined baking sheet and add the feta slices. Bake at 400 degrees for about 35-40 minutes. Remove when ready and add fresh basil leaves. Enjoy with rice, quinoa, or pasta. #vegetarian #meal

BUTTER TART BAR SEASON 👌🏻.

Comment "tart" for the recipe ~ this bar is a classic 💛🍁. Find them in our pastry case until the new year, or make them at home ✅. #heyflourist #recipes

A toasty little cup to go alongside your sourdough and butter in the morning ✨

What better colour to represent all that @flourist is than the colour of a big pat of butter on a thick slice of toasted sourdough, the colour of wheat fields as far as the eye can see, and the colour of morning sunlight streaming through the window. A toasty, rich golden with ochre and caramel, plus some speckles for good measure.

These beauties are available at @flourist, ready in the morning alongside your favourite loaves.

📍Flourist, Vancouver
