A Charlotte favorite. A future worth celebrating.

@flourshopclt is staying at Park Road Shopping Center for the long term and that means more than another restaurant on the map. For many of us, it’s where friendships grow and milestones become memories. We even celebrated JoBrent’s birthday here.

I’m proud to have represented chef and friend @cheftreywilson in a fully executed long-term renewal with EDENS, helping secure Flourshop’s future at Park Road.

Trey, Sandra and the Flourshop team keep evolving with Charlotte while preserving the food, hospitality and personality that make this place their own.

Trey’s contributions to Charlotte also include founding Customshop and co-founding @eatpizzababy , with its East and West locations. I’ve had the privilege of representing him on all three relationships like this are at the heart of my work at Diehl Properties.

Thank you to Alexandra Parker, Matt Crosland and the EDENS team for helping make this possible.

Congratulations, Trey and Sandra. Here’s to more great nights at Flourshop.

Got to try 📍Flour Shop on Thursday! Despite the name, they could make all of their pasta dishes gluten free🤗 I love that they have a rotating menu and also I forgot to add protein to my pasta so #girldinner 🙂‍↔️

How living in Charlotte, North Carolina feels

Park Road Shopping Center opened in 1956. In retail years, that’s ancient.

Yet nearly 70 years later, it’s still one of Charlotte’s most relevant retail destinations.

Why?

Because it never tried to win by being the biggest.

It won by staying connected to the community it serves.

Consumers become loyal to experiences.

The centers that survive decade after decade are usually the ones that adapt to changing customer habits while preserving the character that made people care in the first place.

And that’s what EDENS did. They painstakingly studied and researched to make sure they improved the center thoughtfully and kept what made Park Road Shopping center what it was and it.

Seed-Oil Free Spots in Charlotte, NC! 🥑🔥🤤 I personally feel a major difference when I’m consuming unrefined, minimally processed fats like Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Beef Tallow, Avocado Oil, Butter and Ghee over highly refined, industrial oils like Soybean Oil, Canola Oil, Corn Oil, Sunflower Oil and Cottonseed Oil..

I wanted to take a moment to celebrate the restaurants who are standing out & going the extra mile to create a 100% seed oil free kitchen. Not the easiest route, but definitely the one that leaves you feeling better after you eat.

Who am I missing? Drop it below and share with the community!
