In the way Aaji still makes vada pav with the same love, the same patience, the same hands that have fed all of us for years. In the way Baba takes that first bite and quietly makes it his own with extra chutney, just how he likes it. 🤍🌧️

This reel isn’t just about vada pav.
It’s about first rain evenings, family in the kitchen, familiar hands doing familiar things, and the kind of love that doesn’t need big words, it just shows up on a plate.

Recipe:
For the batata filling, we made a simple potato mixture with boiled potatoes, mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilli, ginger-garlic, turmeric, salt and coriander.
Then shaped them into balls and dipped them into a batter made using besan flour from @flourworks.in 💛

For the batter:

* Besan flour from @flourworks.in
* Haldi
* Salt
* Red chilli powder
* A pinch of baking soda
* Water to make a smooth batter

Deep fried till golden, tucked into pav with chutney, and served hot, exactly the way rainy evenings at home should feel 🫶🏻

I absolutely love pita bread because it’s one of the most versatile things you can make at home. Pair it with hummus, stuff it with your favorite fillings, turn it into wraps, or air-fry it into crispy pita chips! 💚

This was my first time making pita bread with soy flour, and I was genuinely surprised by how easy the dough was to work with.
The soy flour from @flourworks.in had a really smooth texture, and the pitas turned out soft, fluffy, and with beautiful pockets.

Definitely excited to try more varieties from their range next!
