Die Fahrt zum höchsten Bergdorf in Bosnien ist einfach nur atemberaubend schön.

Lukomir – wo die Straße zum Abenteuer wird. 🏍️

Hoch oben in den bosnischen Bergen wartet Lukomir – ein ursprüngliches Bergdorf, das man sich als Motorradfahrer erarbeiten muss. Kurvenreiche Straßen, abgelegene Bergpisten und eine Landschaft, die nach jeder Kurve aufs Neue beeindruckt.

Hier geht es nicht um Geschwindigkeit, sondern um das Erlebnis: Motorrad abstellen, Helm abnehmen und einfach den Blick schweifen lassen.

Lukomir – ein Ziel, das man nicht nur anfährt, sondern erlebt. 🇧🇦🏔️

MY TROPHY – DAY 7

I picked this photo to sum up my last day, because to me, this is what the #GSspirit really looks like 💙

Seven days ago, most of these people were strangers. Tonight they feel like family I’ve always had 🤷‍♂️

In this shot I’m standing in the middle of them, leading one last rallying cry before the final challenge. What came back at me was a wave of energy I can’t describe. Something from another planet 😍

I may have missed the final. But I didn’t miss what mattered❗️

We spend so much of our lives chasing places. The next road, the next horizon, the next view worth stopping for. And then a week like this one quietly reminds you that a place is just a backdrop. The moment itself is made of people. Of shared silences, of looks that say more than words, of strangers who decide, without ever discussing it, to carry each other🙏

That’s the GS spirit to me. Not something you can explain. Something you recognize the second you feel it🥹

This adventure made me grow. It taught me that the quality of a moment doesn’t depend on where you are, but on who you’re sharing it with 🤝

Motorcycles have given me many roads and many encounters. This one left something I can’t put into words, and maybe that’s exactly why it’s my favorite🫶

To my GS family: thank you🙏💙Our roads will cross again🙌

It felt really good to FINISH STRONG. 💪

The Trophy didn’t necessarily go the way I would have liked with the points, but our strategy coming into this thing was to just focus on enjoying every second of the trip. Which we absolutely did…if there was a team that laughed the hardest, drank the most beers (responsibly), stayed up the latest, and got the most out of this Trophy…we were runaway winners. However, it is hard to turn off that competitive switch. 😂

After nearly missing a flag at the beginning of the course, we picked up the pace and brought it home with an almost clean run…closing out the Final Special Stage with a P2 finish.

As the week came to an end, I was overwhelmed with emotion at the Final Special Stage. I’d chased this dream for years, and it couldn’t have been more perfect Trophy. What an unforgettable week in Romania…and what an awesome crew to share it with.

MY TROPHY — DAY 02 🇷🇴

6:15 AM ⏰ After a very short night, I discovered what would become my routine for the next five days: pack the mattress, sleeping bag, pillow and tent, get into my gear, somehow fit everything back into one bag 😅 then breakfast 🍳🥓☕️ and straight to the bikes.

This was it. Our first real day of the GS Trophy 😍 I was ridiculously excited…and honestly, pretty nervous too. Those first few meters even put a little tear in my eye 🥹 Almost a year after qualifying in Hechlingen, we were finally riding in Romania. And apparently, for Day 1, we’d be riding with the Power Rangers 🇩🇪😂⚡️ A few seconds later, the first “CAN I GET AN OYEAHHHHHH?!” was already blasting through the intercom. Yep…this was going to be a good day 🤣

About an hour later came our first Special Stage: a short taped-off enduro course. Marcin went first, I followed five seconds later. I was tense, stiff and way too focused on not making a mistake…but we finished clean ✅

More trails, insane views, laughs, wheelies and a wrap 🌯 later, it was time for the AKRAPOVIČ RIVERBED CHALLENGE 🪨💦 Marcin nailed it. Me❓Still riding with the handbrake on 😅 Too careful, too tense, a couple of dabs…but I loved every second of it.

Then back on the trails with our marshal MATTEI, heading to DRACULA DANEȘ 🐎😍 A beautiful ranch, first beer with Remy and Marcin at 18:43 🍺, shower, dinner and finally…the results.

That’s when we realized our German Power Rangers hadn’t exactly come for the scenery 😬🤣 And somehow…TEAM EUROPE…P2 for the day 🥈

That result flipped a switch in my head: “Okay Tom…maybe you actually know how to ride a motorcycle.” 😅 From there, the plan was simple: stop overthinking, ride, enjoy every kilometer…and see what happens 💪

22:00. Back in the tent. Tomorrow, we do it all over again 😍

Team Europa –eine Begegnung mit Dynamik,Action und Spaß der bleibt #Hoyaaa. 🇩🇪🇵🇱🇷🇴 🇳🇱

Unsere erste gemeinsame Fahrt mit Marcin (@endurak666_ ), Thomas(@the.waffle.gs ) und Remy (@remy_gsa_rally ) – und direkt Vollgas! 🏍️💨
Wheelies, Drifts, jede Menge Action und vor allem: witzige Sprüche! 😍

Gerade das Wheeliefahren mit Marcin hat mir unglaublich viel Spaß gemacht – und ich glaube, das kleine Video spricht dabei für sich. 😎🔥

Marcin und Thomas waren dabei nicht nur unglaublich starke Fahrer, sondern auch unsere engsten Konkurrenten und lagen uns bei den Punkten immer dicht auf den Fersen. Umso besonderer war es, diese Tage gemeinsam auf dem Motorrad zu erleben.

Leider mussten wir am Tag 5 durch Thomas’ Ausfall unseren wohl stärksten Konkurrenten ziehen lassen – für uns Glück, für ihn natürlich bitteres Pech. Aber ganz ehrlich: Thomas ist für uns definitiv ein Sieger der Herzen! ❤️

Drei großartige Menschen, drei starke Fahrer und ein Tag voller Erinnerungen.
Es war uns ein Privileg, mit euch zu fahren. Danke für diesen unglaublichen Spaß! 🫶🔥

While the GS Trophy took us to a handful of incredible locations across Romania, Base Camp, just outside the small village of Colțești in Transylvania, was home.

We arrived here as competitors from all over the world…most of us strangers. It’s where we met our teammates, saw our bikes for the first time, built tents, shared meals, sat around campfires, swapped stories and started friendships that would only get stronger over the week ahead.

We would leave Base Camp each morning chasing challenges and adventure across Romania, but some of the best parts of the Trophy happened right here, when the helmets came off.

By the time we returned for the final nights, it felt completely different.

Same tents. Same bikes. Same campfire…

Different people…Friends or even family.

The riding was incredible. Romania was incredible. But more than anything, I’m grateful for the people who made this place, and this entire experience, something I’ll never forget.

Base Camp. Where it all started. 🤝🌎🏍️

🇩🇪 TEAM DEUTSCHLAND GEWINNT DIE GS TROPHY 2026! 🏆

Was für eine Leistung: Unser Mitarbeiter Flo Thomann gewinnt gemeinsam mit Fabi Fenner und Norman Pleissner die BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy 2026 in Rumänien!

Sechs Tage, rund 1.500 Kilometer durch die rumänischen Karpaten und etwa die Hälfte davon abseits befestigter Straßen: Ausgewaschene Waldwege, Flussbetten, tiefer Kies und anspruchsvolle Bergpfade verlangten den Fahrern alles ab. 💪

Dabei ging es um weit mehr als Geschwindigkeit. Navigation, Ausdauer, fahrerisches Können und vor allem echte Teamarbeit waren entscheidend. Team Deutschland meisterte die Herausforderungen und sicherte sich mit 203 Punkten den Gesamtsieg.

Lieber Flo, wir gratulieren dir und dem gesamten Team Deutschland zu diesem großartigen Erfolg! 🔥
