I was out in California for a video shoot, and after some really long days, I decided to just grab my camera and take a look around.
.
.
Something about having a camera in my hand makes me slow down, be present, and notice the details I’d normally walk right past.
.
.
I walked up on @jeremiahh.808 and @flowithlolo casually holding handstands on top of a massive ledge, only to have them bust out some amazing stuff together. And I even got to meet a handsome little chonker @fluffylittlefoot while posted up on the pier.

.
None of it was planned. I just went outside with a camera and started looking. Sometimes that’s all it takes.

An amazing, day at the beach on Sunday. Celebrating a decade of handstands on the parallel bars at the Original Muscle Beach. @soop518 organized the event and after a bunch of attempts, everyone (10 people in total) nailed their handstands. Had so much fun at @primalmovesvenice meeting up and moving with friends! What an epic space to gather and create! While we visited there was a music jam, acro class, yoga and a women’s circle all hosted with ease… Steve and I would spend all our days here if we were in LA 😍💫

Still riding the high from today’s Handstand Workshop with Alora! 🤸‍♀️✨

We played with balance, alignment, breathwork, kick-ups, new entries and plenty of time upside down. Everyone absolutely crushed it!

Such a fun afternoon of learning, trying, falling, laughing, and trying again 🩵

So grateful to have had Alora take the time to share her wisdom with us while she’s visiting Big Island. Please come back soon @flowithlolo 🫶🏼

“你永遠都唔會好似健身室入面鳩叫舉鐵嗰班大哥咁大力（overuse),因為佢地都係裝作大力”
“亦都唔會似有種人咁，上瑜伽堂做完一個動作就成日都hehe骸骸嗰班人咁自暴自棄（Self-destructive),好似逼您做咁”

兩者間就係平衡（Balancing) ,兩者共通點都係呼吸使用不當。

過去既一星期上左個Handstand Teacher Training
當中當然會有學到Handbalnce既技巧,但係更多既係身體既內在感覺,我覺得係一重內在既修練 ,總括就係開心、難忘同感動✨。

到埗機場第一日,我就見到老師,估唔到既係老師就係車我地去場地既司機；呢個老師一啲架子都無,人超nice,打從心底就覺得呢個人比social media 見到既更真誠,更true。

呢幾日閒談中老師有分享以前表演時既經歷同趣事,而當中就感受到佢嗰種從容既心態；曾經我都係表演者,會明白喺舞台上嗰種不安,恐懼...正正明白佢點樣喺壓力底下做到保持冷靜咁去演出，就係 “呼吸“ ,當套用喺Handstand 都係一樣，唔係您推得幾大力,個Handstand 都幾直，而係點去運用您既身體內在去做到舒服、自在。

多謝老師無私既奉献同分享,仲要有一日老師車我地去附近既海邊放鬆，玩樂....邊有老師做teacher training/retreat 咁好一腳踢，咩都做晒架，到老師頒cert 俾我地嗰刻，我覺得好感動同respect....慶幸我遇到一個好好既老師。

感恩可以同一班好有愛既同學渡過呢個星期，當中有個姐姐好幽默,拍啲片,影既相好有feel,好鍾意同佢傾計,氣氛擔當.....傾落原來佢幾十年周圍去travel ,做啲人民、文化記錄片既野,佢以一個traveler 既身份去記錄,佢既經歷,同故事都好有趣；每晚食完飯都會同大家座低傾計,閒閒地都傾個幾兩個鐘,有機會希望大家會再聚。

I'm so grateful to have spent this week with you all, such a fun, humorous, and loving group of people. I feel so happy.
